Good choice: the pool is open (May 2020)

May 28th, 2020

We didn’t have a lot of choices — COVID-19, travelling with cats — but Doubletree came through. Extra added advantage: the pool’s open! Apparently I need to add more words to make this a proper review. Free cookie on arrival! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Service

May 1st, 2020

We enjoyed the lounge upstairs for breakfast. Ana the employee working there was very professional and friendly. The location was fairly close to any stores (pharmacies, groceries, etc) and other stores. Their shuttle however was a big problem. We waited almost an hour and ended up calling a Lyft. Trade Show Stay

Mar 29th, 2020

Stayed at the Doubletree for a Trade show in the attached convention center for 2 nights, February 24-26, 2020. First I would like to say if you are attending any event in the conventions center there is no more convenient place to stay. It is a short walk to get to work. The lobby restaurants and bar had a nice crowd, and although I didn't eat at the restaurant I found them to be kept clean. The bar was also well attended although it was really busy in the evening. Had the pleasure of staying on the executive floor. It was nicely kept and quiet. Also the executive lounge was also nicely stocked with fresh food and well attended by the lovely hostess, Patricia. Would have preferred if they served beer and wine for happy hour as so many other hilton executive lounges do, but no place is perfect. Looking forward to my next stay and would certainly recommend this property TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Executive lounge only highlight

Mar 12th, 2020

This hotel is old. Very old. So old, that - only 1 out of 3 elevators is working - no USB connections available in room - first stay only soap. This meant: shampoo - soap, conditioner - soap, facial soap - soap. I hope you get the picture! On the second stay ( unfortunately, I had booked both stays together in advance and wasn’t able to cancel) they suddenly had real shampoo, conditioner etc. - the plates at the breakfast room downstairs had leftovers from the previous customers. This was the case for all 4 stacks, and for the second plate of one of the stacks where I removed the top plate. They never seem to have seen any water, or other cleaning. The food area didn’t seem much cleaner, so we refused to use any of the downstairs eating offers after the first shock! Hilton, in times of Corona Virus, you offer this filthy stuff to your customers? Is there no law against something like this, or a department from the FDA checking for it? On arrival, the airport shuttle passed the international flights waiting area as it was already full from the local flights. It took them more than 30 minutes to bring the next one (the other hotel shuttles were stopping 3-4 times for each hotel before the Doubletree finally made it back). Now to the highlight: The executive lounge seemed clean and Patricia was really friendly. Even when someone came in 2 minutes before the end of the breakfast time she asked what she can bring, with a smile. The breakfast has not the same assortment like downstairs, but to me and my family our health is worth more than an Omelette. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disgustingly Dirty and Run Down - Housekeeping barged in at 11:30pm

Mar 10th, 2020

When we arrived there were no luggage racks, 2 of the 3 elevators were broken. We were told we weren't allowed to use the stairs unless it was an emergency which we thought was odd. We unpacked and went to bar for appetizers and drinks which was nice. But when we got back to our room and settled in I realized how dirty it was - someone had clearly slept in the bed (there were crease marks in one bed where someone slept, as well as their hair). In the bathroom there was long red hair on the shower walls and some curly hair in the corners. Multiple bottles of half-used shampoos/lotions under the vanity. The tub spigot ran constantly, dripping water... it couldn't be shut off. When I went to the gym several of the machines were out of order and the basketball for the bball court was flat. Nothing was done about the rooms which was the only thing that upset me enough to take the time to even write this. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
