Dark, dreary, dirty, and dated

Hotel is in dire need of a renovation and deep cleaning. Walls, ironing board, headboard are stained and scuffed. Smudges and grime buildup on most surfaces. Shower smells heavily of mildew and looks like it hasn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Will not stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Picked because dog friendly. Excellent stay. Very clean. On 1st floor near door, so easy to take dog in and out. Felt very comfortable there, as everything was very well maintained and clean. Bed, linens were Excellent! Bathroom spotless! Quiet. Would definitely stay again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Easy check-in, great burgers, safe area, and lots of parking. Clean and sanitized hotel is highly recommended for short or long stays in Murfreesboro, TN. Check out the on-site restaurant during your stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My family of 3 visited the Double Tree in Murfreesboro, and we were pleased with the friendly service. The hotel is pet friendly as well. Everything was nice and clean, which is a must during this Covid-19 pandemic. Loved the indoor/outdoor pool. The only complaint would be that the beds and pillows were not that comfortable. Missed the mark
Jul 25th, 2020
We are Hilton Honor gold members and try to stay at Double Tree hotels when we need a place to stay. Unfortunately, this hotel missed the mark for us. Check-in was easy and we arrived around 8:00pm. We were checked in quickly and offered cookies which were warm and tasty. The problem began with the first room we were assigned which shared a window with indoor pool. Way too loud after 700 miles on the road. The staff was prompt in allowing us to move rooms so kudos for that but they could not get the keys figured out. Had to make multiple trips down to the front desk to get keys working for both rooms while we moved our stuff. New room was plenty far from the pool but had a weird ticking noise all night from the A/C unit so we did not sleep much. The next morning we went into the restaurant for the free breakfast which came with eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes. The waitress had a hard time remembering our order and we never did get what we asked for. Can't complain too much for it being free but why not write it down? Either way, this hotel was a little dated and just didn't live up to the standards we are accustomed to. They have offered us points for the less then stellar stay so I will continue to stay at Hilton properties going forward. Just not this one. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
