On top of the dirty bathtub (which by the way still had a ring around it after the nice front desk girl cleaned the dirt on the bottom). I had to stand with the water pooling up around my ankles while taking a shower. Very gross especially given the conditions of the bathtub! My tv remote was sticky and clearly not cleaned as per your promise to guests. Also, I understand this next concern is not the fault of the hotel, however, there was a room that had a "get together" and would yell, scream and holler in the hallway all throughout the night. Needless to say, I did not even get a restful night's sleep. Perhaps this is why I should keep staying with Marriott, as I have not had an issue with them. This was such a waste of money I should have just kept driving. Thank you for your cut and paste response to my concern. Have a wonderful day. {Lease do not take this personally, this is strictly constructive criticism of the hotel itself and how disappointed I am with the Hilton brand at this moment in time. Subpar Hilton Hotel

For a Hilton brand, it seemed a little subpar. It was nice, but dated. There was construction at the entrance, so getting in and out was somewhat of a nightmare. Pros: -Staff was very friendly and helpful -Pool area was nice -Beds were comfortable Cons: -Dated, worn facilities -Starbucks was a nice amenity, but definitely not same products (tasted no espresso in my late) -Shower drain VERY slow to drain Should also point out that they claim to have the room seals for sanitation during COVID, but I didn’t see a single one on the 14th floor. Would also be convenient to have a mini fridge in the room (my fault for not checking, but still would be nice to have them). Overall, there are better places to stay downtown Omaha for similar price point. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Accomodations

We were here on a business trip and it was 20 degrees outside but the hotel from the lobby to our room was very comfortable! Room service was timely and tasted great! And you can't beat the warm chocolate chip cookies TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A tired and old hotel that looks filthy

I stayed here in December and am a frequent Hilton traveler. There was no recognition of my status and none of Doubletree's cookies at check in. I had to return to the front desk after checking in and going to my room to ask for bottled water, as there was none in the room. For breakfast, after waiting in front of the Doubletree employee for about 5 minutes because he was enthralled in whatever he was watching on his phone, I was given a cold sausage/egg muffin which I could microwave. There was no possibility of so much as a minute of a late check out, even considering the hotel was maybe 50% occupied. Pay the extra $5-10 and stay at a better Hilton branded property in Omaha. Staffing is everything

We got off to a rocky start, the front desk told us there were no Queen rooms and only three King rooms.. I asked several times and ways and they told me they were scraping bottom of the barrel and there was nothing they could do.. so my 5 year old and I left.. we drove around downtown Omaha kinda bummed out because I was hoping to show kids city lights, we were driving SoCal-Chicago. I started to look online for a different hotel, and noticed all the websites were showing Queen room availability for this double tree. I called Customer Service to confirm and they said yes.. We turned around, and when I went back in, there was a different person at front desk. She had queen rooms, several, even, to choose from and get our city view. Even though she had other people and phones ringing nonstop, she was so nice and patient and after being in the car for 15 hours with tired cranky kids, she made our check in and stay perfect. The beds were comfortable, the view was amazing, and despite other reviews- everything was very clean. Room was sealed. Restaurant and stuff was closed, bag breakfast was $3. On the way back, because of that experience we stopped here again. We even got to see Alexis again, even though she didn’t recognize me from the previous month, and it was busy, she was just as awesome. We had a Yakima on top of our car this time, and she went above and beyond helping me figure out parking. One person at a company can really make the difference and for this Double Tree, Alexis is that person. Thanks for making our stay there awesome, and the location is pretty nice too.
