Great location near sightseeing in Banff. Had a waterpark area attached, included with stay. Lots of space, kids had their own "loft". Great price for the area. Kitchen so we could prepare our own meals. Has shuttle bus between town. I would stay here again. Stayed in June 2018. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The room had a rustic feel. The bed was comfortable, it had a kitchenette with cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer, bathroom, sofa bed, fireplace (logs were provided) and a balcony. We enjoyed our 5 night stay here 2nd week of September 2019 and would return if we were in the area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great staff, hotel needs some love

The good: Staff were wonderful, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were a great size. The outdoor hot tubs were awesome! BBQ area was enclosed so that was nice to keep the wind out while cooking. The bad: When we arrived and were walking to our room there was a bucket in the hallway catching water that was dripping from the ceiling and already made a mark on the carpet. The sauna was broken in the pool area. The pool needs to be cleaned. The dishwasher in our room wasn't working and just kept beeping. Maintenance came to look at it and after about 2 minutes said it was all good and then right after he left it started beeping again and wasn't working. Mentioned it again on checkout so hopefully they get it fixed. Based on how much this place costs a night, you may want to look around. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

we stayed here this past january. overall, i’d say we were disappointed. the cost of a suite feels very expensive for what you get. the units are very old and very dated, which is our principal frustration. you can pay less to get considerably more elsewhere (especially canmore). the waterslide is a huge plus if you have kids (ours absolutely loved it...), but i find it hard to imagine we’d return even with that. i don’t have concerns with the staff or location. if the owners invested in the facilities, i think it would help this resort distinguish itself in a crowded market of proprieties whose best days are behind them. Electric fireplace is simple to use but lacks the magic of wood or gas. The hot tub is nice to look at, but apparently rarely functions properly, which it did not while we were there. Also from our room, getting to the hot tub was a challenging exploration. The kitchen was poorly accessorized: no non-stick fry pan, no spatula, lop sided elements on the stove top. The sky light in one bedroom was not operational, so that room was way overheated at night. Overall, this facility is due for a serious upgrade to justify its cost. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
