Beautiful

Jul 20th, 2019

Me and my boyfriend stayed here as our first trip to LA ever and it was amazing. The guys at the front are so helpful and friendly. The rooftop pool is beautiful and has an excellent view. Room service was overpriced but we were expecting that. Also great location, in walking distance from most of the major attractions and also lots of artsy la bars. We loved it! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lights, Camera, Action..... In the middle of it all

Jul 17th, 2019

Reasonable luxury hotel with idea location to major attractions, shopping, restaurants and clubs. Clubs, Rooftops, and more clubs. This is a good hotel with great distance to all. Many attractions and shops within great walking distance of the hotel. Great bar and rooftop. Rooftop restaurant is overpriced but you are largely paying for locale and the great view. Sexy, chic and exclusive feel for the lobby and hotel staff. The hotel is working to achieve a ‘look’ and feel for the overall environment and they hit this on the mark. The Room was nicely decorated, but small. The glass shower in the center of hotel room is a sexy addition to the spacious bathroom. (In honesty the possibly could have shaved off some of the bathroom for extra space for the rest of the hotel room. The Bed is soft and lighting for the room is adequate. One critique, the Balcony is ridiculously small, only large enough for you and one other person maybe to stand on and overlook. It’s a wonder they can call it a balcony at all. Generally an enjoyable stay. The rooftop pool/restaurant turns into a club at night. That coupled with the next door club as well makes this an extremely busy street/ area on the weekends that can get loud at times. You will likely hear the street noise, or rooftop party noise from any and all rooms in this hotel until it shuts down (approx. 2am). Tip: Book directly with hotel website to take advantage of extra discount/credits. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Traveling for Business

Jul 17th, 2019

Loved this beautiful hotel! I was traveling to LA on business and I am sad that I only got to stay one night. We were warmly greeted on our way into the building, and the staff excelled from that moment on. The rooms are just stunning. For a fairly small room it never felt small. I had a beautiful view of the mountains and the tech in the room allowed me to play some music while I got ready in the morning. The shower is just too die for as well. Cant wait to come back to LA and stay here again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Depends on what you’re looking for

Jul 14th, 2019

I recently stayed at the Dream and it wasn’t a nightmare but it wasn’t a dream either! The hotel has a nice open air lobby and a nice rooftop/pool area. However, this is not the hotel to stay at if you’re looking to leisurely lay by the pool and relax. The hotel turns the rooftop pool into a night club and day party several days throughout the week and on weekends, which means the pool is closed around 4pm! The hotel’s room service is way overpriced $55 for one order of chicken fingers/fries and a mojito. The front desk staff are “friendly” but they don’t seem sincere. It’s more like their forced to be friendly to guests. The vibe I got didn’t make me want to return. Also, the rooms are super small, like seriously small. There is no full size/floor length mirror, so ladies getting dressed to go out and not be able to see your entire outfit sucks. The hotel is definitely for those looking to party and the party scene. I love posh boutique hotels but this one isn’t it for the 35+ crowd. I prefer the Kimpton properties in LA or The London hotel in West Hollywood and even the Line Hotel downtown. And the rooms are larger at the hotels I just referenced, minus the pools being closed for parties with tons of outside guests. Definitely not a relaxing experience. This is a party hotel for 21 -30ish year olds. So if you’re in that age range you will have a great time. Older folks looking to relax find other accommodations. Cheers! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Service

Jul 13th, 2019

I keep coming back to this hotel because of the people hired to run the hotel...I cannot just single one person because from the guys in the front, bar tenders, front desk, upper management, Valet ...all are excellent, highly recommend it... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
