Couples trip

Feb 27th, 2020

We had a great trip. Rooms were clean and staff were accommodating, food was very comparable to other all inclusive resorts I have previously stayed at, pool was good although we had a hard time getting chairs and umbrellas, I liked the beach out front the water was warm and it was good swimming TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

All around amazing trip!

Feb 26th, 2020

We are UVC members and travel to different resorts every year. We had the best week with our 2 daughters (ages 6 & 8) and another family we travelled with. Right from arrival we had the best service. We love the cold towels and welcome drinks. Everything was clean and our room was nice. Great ocean view and a bit noisy overlooking the pool, but not too bad. Amazing food and drinks. Lots of space at the pool and beach but get up early to get a seat. Pool wait service was top notch. Our girls loved the Kids Club! Melissa, Benedictina, Nayrubi and Lisbeth were all awesome. Our girls had a blast with them. The only complaint I can think of would be that it was almost TOO hot for us pasty-skinned Canadians. The weather was amazing but be careful to take shade breaks. 11/10 would recommend this place for families. If you are a couple I would recommend staying down the road at Secrets - they are amazing there too! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

thick sand on the beach and super hot 🥵., the local people are very loud and pushy for sales trips around Huatulco. General view more like a retirement home. Your won’t find any sitting on the beach after 7am . Mexican food was good. Room and washrooms are clean . Not fun activities At night. Very boring. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wedding at Dreams Resort

Feb 24th, 2020

I recently got married at the Dreams Resort in Huatulco in February. My day was absolutely perfect, our wedding planner Sandy was amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure my day was everything I wanted and more. She is very organized, and knows how to put a beautiful wedding together. I highly recommend this resort and Sandy to anyone who is looking to get away for their big day. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wedding and 5th time back to Dreams Huatulco!

Feb 23rd, 2020

It was my 5th time back at Dreams Huatulco for our wedding and like a always everything was great! I can't say enough good things about the resort, the weather was perfect, the resort and rooms are extremely clean. We will be back again over our anniversary next January. I want to keep this short and sweet and give a shoutout to Sandy (wedding planner) absolutely amazing to work with, the wedding itself was perfect and I wouldn't have changed a thing. The morning of my wedding day I woke up and could not move my neck and was in a lot of pain, she worked her magic and was able to squeeze me in at the spa for a massage. Laura and Freddy (Adventure photos) also amazing, the photos and wedding video turned out perfect, Luisa (hostess in World Cafe) it was great to see her again, as she had remembered me and my entire family from previous years. It was nice to catch up and say hello again! Julio (Portofino restaurant) thank you SO much for your service making spanish coffee for our wedding reception. Julio spoke to his managers to change his schedule to be there for us, as we love our spanish coffee! There was only two things I noticed again during this trip that could use a bit of attention. The first is the coffee station outside of the World cafe, it seems like there is either cold coffee or no cream available. This is not a huge deal, but just means you need to go up to the Coco Cafe to get a coffee in the mornings. Also second, the chairs at the main pools need to be addressed. In order to attempt to get chairs at the infinity pools we had to be up close to 6 am every day. It was upsetting to see that people would get up before 5 - 5:30 am am throw some towels on chairs, and then not show up for 4 hours to use their chairs. I know there is signs out by the pool stating the 30 minute rule, but people do not have any respect for these signs. I really hope to see an improvement next year when we are there. I do not mind if people get up early and are by the pool early, but when other guests are reserving these chairs and not showing up for hours and then the staff dont do anything it is quite frustrating. There should be consistency with enforcing these rules. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
