Pleasant Stay During the Holidays
Dec 2nd, 2020
This was a pleasant hotel. That follows the safety standards you look for in a hotel during theses times. The location is next to many places to grab something to eat as well as shopping locations within minutes from the parking lot. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Have stayed at Drury Inn previously and will again. All staff were very friendly. Hotel was very clean. Pool was too cold to swim in and hot tub was closed I assume because of covid. Would of loved if they had a possible book your spot for hot tub i definitely would of booked. Breakfast on firat day was good. Eggs, grits, potatoes, sausage along with muffins, cereal and yogurt. Potatoes were really spicey. 2nd day was unable to eat breakfast as they open at 7 instead of 6. I would suggest 6 because people live in different time zones. Kickbacks were good as well. 1st night chili, bbq pork sliders, baked beans, broccoli and salad. 2nd night chicken and noodle soup, chicken fingers, pasta with broccoli and salad. Also don't forget you get 3 free drinks every night. Will be returning in 3 months.. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Room Not Clean
Sep 19th, 2020
Check in was smooth and the lobby looks good. I noticed a lot of guests not wearing masks, and that bothered me, but I just tried to keep my family away from them. We are only out in public because Hurricane Sally knocked our power out days ago and we needed air conditioning. Upon entering room 320, we were hit by a musty smell. We took a quick look around the room and it seemed okay. We went down to the pool and I was disappointed to discover the hot tub was closed, probably due to Covid restrictions. The pool itself was freezing cold. We went back up and went to bed. This morning I awoke and opened the curtains. The added light led me to see that the headboard and wall behind the bed my kids slept in is covered with something white that has splashed all over it. I can only hope it is milk! With hotels saying they have stepped up cleaning during the pandemic, I find this unacceptable. There was also something brown on the bathroom wall that easily wiped off with a damp washcloth and no detergent. Why did they not clean that? If you stay here, I would suggest bringing Lysol and spraying the knobs, light switches, etc, because they are not clean. At least the breakfast was good, and was served from behind plexiglass. Nice pet friendly hotel near the interstate
Jul 29th, 2020
We had an issue with another hotel we had booked in the area and left that hotel to come to this Drury. We did not have a reservation, but Ilyssa was fantastic at the front desk and able to get us a pet friendly room in a very timely manner for a good rate with a smile on her face. There is a pet fee. The pool was open but the hot tub was not. Parking and internet were free. Room was clean and spacious. All of the staff was so great. The breakfast and happy hour were open but not self serve as in the past. Face masks are required and all staff had them on. We will stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My daughter in law and I have stayed in many Drury Hotels so we searched this one out and decided to spend the night in Birmingham. We were both very disappointed in the staff and hotel in general. We both said we would have to really think hard before staying at another Drury again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
