Great hotel

Oct 17th, 2020

The hotel was wonderful. Staff all masked and taking Covid precautions. Drinks and meals in the lobby were excellent and served to maintain safety. Front desk staff (Colton) was very helpful. Room was ultra clean with a nice partial view of the Arch. Location was outstanding as Arch was around the corner and across from Old Courthouse. Evening appetizers and drinks were equivalent to dinner. Breakfast was good. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay again in the future. Thanks Drury staff! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Experience!

Oct 15th, 2020

We stayed for a short weekend trip in late September. The staff here is so friendly and welcoming, which is always appreciated. It is a five minute walk from the Arch, and about a 10 minute walk to the Metrolink, which we used a lot. The hotel, including the lobby area and the upper floors, was beautiful and clean. And I'm sure it had something to do with wearing a mask, but whenever we came back to the room and took our masks off, the air in the room just smelled *clean*. We had no concerns about how the hotel was handling things during Covid-19. We saw staff cleaning consistently while we were in the public areas. The buffets were not self-serve but were staffed, which worked well. And we enjoyed the evening "Kick-Back" as well. Real food and real drinks. Overall, a great experience, especially during such an unusual time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This is why I keep coming back

Oct 11th, 2020

Hello TripAdvisor Family, I just came back from my two day weekend in St. Louis. I stayed at Drury in Franklin last year and liked it so much I decided to try them for my STL weekend and they did not disappoint. Accommodations Every time I’ve tried Drury and they’ve had consistent good service and great accommodations. The beds are amazing, the pillows are amazing, the covers are amazing. STL as t the Arch Drury was best hotel sleep I have had. The have best free hot breakfast of any hotel I have been to. 5:30 kickbacks are good and free. (If you don’t know what the 530 kickbacks are I would say check out their site. It’s probably one of the reasons why the hotel chain is growing.) 2 hot tubs, pool, and an amazing view of the arch from a balcony. Within walking distance of hotel-. The hotel is seriously next door to the arch. I am not exaggerating, you can walk out the front door and in less than 1000 step you are at the arch gateway park. There is a good assortment of restaurants, (some are restaurant chains and some are local restaurants). There are also museums. dance clubs, and Busch Stadium (STL Cardinals ball park) within a short walking distance. When I was there, there were many horse drawn carriage rides pick up near front of hotel. Not sure if they do it during the full year or only certain times of the year. Many thing to do right in that little area of the city near the hotel. Price: always a must know- I do not use any third party “discount sites” for Drury. I go straight to their website and find the best price. If your job has Perkspot perks, check for discount codes. They often have a discount for them. They give AAA discounts. I have AAA and the discount was better than the perks discount. You can apply discount on there site but might need to provide proof to get discount when checking in. There were a few other discount available you would need check website (not all discounts are the same ). There is a secure parking garage for guests. You must have keycard to enter. The cost is $22 a night but you got all that in an out that you wanted for free. I hope this information helps you. If it does, up vote it. Thanks! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent hotel a block from The Arch

Oct 8th, 2020

I rarely rate anything excellent but this hotel is exemplary. Our great experience stated with cheerful Brittany at the front desk. She got us checked in and referred us to local restaurants and attractions. Our room was quiet and immaculate. During our stay Samantha also helped at the front desk and Robyn who must have been a supervisor was a presence in the lobby at meal and toddy time. This is an older hoter that has been renovated and perhaps added on to but it was great. Out last night we went out on the deck near the pool and watched the sun go down. We only had two nights here but they were super. The parking garage is old-school and the spaces a little small so be careful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Customer service is outstanding

Oct 5th, 2020

Here is a story on how great customer service can completely turn around a frustrating situation. My wife and I are moving across the country from Columbus, Ohio to Phoenix, Arizona and our first stop is St Louis Missouri. We chose this hotel for its great reviews and proximity to the arch which we wanted to visit. Because of the move, we are driving a chevy half ton Sierra and towing a Hyundai Sonata. I called ahead to make sure the garage would accommodate an awkward vehicle set up like ours, but the call center booking person was unsure, so they transferred me to the front desk at the hotel. The lady there told me it would be tight, but possible. We arrived at 830pm ish to find that... I promise you, even if the best of drivers attempted this, they would be in a pickle. Starting to get frustrated, Andrew came out to offer help. My wife and I were already tired, frustrated, and weary from the long drive, but Andrews overwhelming hospitality, genuine concern, and patience eased the situation into an actual pleasant one! The next morning we had multiple interactions with the general manager Robyn, all of which were outstanding. She obviously has a masterful awareness of what goes on in her hotel because she immediately recognized us. Many hotels can learn a lot from the staff here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
