Great stay very worth the cost

Feb 4th, 2019

The Dairy Barn loft is a very comfortable room. The breakfast is wonderful, the tour is presented very well. There are lot's of weddings held on site. The grounds are well kept. The restaurant on site has great local and Cajun food, and fairly priced. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful Historic Property

Oct 26th, 2018

This is a beautiful old and very historic property. We stayed in a ground-level room in the dependency attached to the main house. Cozy but with a couple of flaws that we were able to overlook: carpet needed a good cleaning and there was a little mold in the tub/shower grouting. Dinner in The Castle restaurant (the old stables) was superb. Excellent food, good service, nice wine list. Breakfast also was excellent with good variety of choices, hot and cold. we enjoyed the main house tour the morning that we departed. Definitely would recommend, but might stay in a room (much more formal) in the main house the next time. The disadvantage of those rooms and the higher rooms in the dependency is that you have to lug your luggage up stairs. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

More boutique hotel than B&B

Oct 3rd, 2018

While it is marketed as a B&B, it feels more like a boutique hotel. Our room featured a Jacuzzi and Aveda amenities. Outside our door was a small patio, parking was a short walk away. The room includes breakfast which is a buffet and features traditional Southern fare. There is also a free main house tour for guests. While it is in Natchez, it would be a bit of a walk to get to downtown from this location, so if you want to eat offsite plan on driving. I have stayed in many B&Bs in Natchez. If you are looking for a hotel/B&B type experience – this is a good choice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best B&B in Natchez yet

Oct 3rd, 2018

We had passed by this B&B every trip to Natchez which is about every six weeks. I always thought it would cost more than I was willing to pay. While looking at rooms on line, I found it to be very reasonable. The room is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff very accommodating, and the breakfast was unreal best yet. The tour so very, very interesting and well presented. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
