Last minute booking at Durrants Hotel, London

Feb 11th, 2020

Looking for a hotel around Marylebone in London, I found Durrants Hotel. I popped in and found reception staff was very helpful. They immediately found me the last room available. I found the hotel clean, tidy and with wonderful staff. I also like this olde worlde hotels with amazing breakfast & dinner menus. I already recommended it to a friend. I booked them again for a week’s stay in February 2020. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely hotel in a good location

Feb 10th, 2020

A really nice hotel to stay if you are on your own. It has good old fashioned style and service, with lovely helpful staff. Also great location for Oxford Street, Wallace Collection, Marylebone High Street etc. Rooms not huge but very comfortable beds. Very good breakfast! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A hotel of great charm, style and comfort.

Feb 2nd, 2020

From the moment we entered the hotel foyer with its welcoming real fire we knew we were in for a very different hotel experience from the large, modern and rather soulless hotels that are often the norm. The cosy panelled bar with another open fire is particularly enticing and there are several other small rooms in which to enjoy a drink or afternoon tea. We very much enjoyed dinners, a lunch and breakfasts is the lovely panelled dining room. It was a a real pleasure to be served at breakfast rather than experiencing the hubbub of a breakfast buffet. All our meals were of a very high standard, with breakfast really superb - a sole criticism of the latter is the marmalade which was extremely bland and not up to the standard of other ingredients, Our bedroom was charming, decorated in an attractive country house style and it had windows that open - a high spot to a country dweller like myself! Nice to have Occitane goodies in the bathroom just echoing the overall style and quality of the hotel. Very much look forward to a return visit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Warm greeting when arriving made to feel welcome.lovely room small but comfortable for 2 (twin room). Bed was so comfortable wanted to take it home!. View over a little mews so lovely and quiet but I feel where the hotel is it would not be a issue. Did not eat at hotel but enjoyed a drink in a lovely little bar. Had breakfast in a fantastic coffee shop across the road. Would stay again excellent hotel in the heart of London. Oh forgot good bathroom and lots of hot water. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room too. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Winter Wonderful

Jan 7th, 2020

We stay regularly at Durrants and have done so for many years, usually in Wintertime. The atmosphere is lovely. We love the open fires in the foyer and bars. Very welcoming and warming with cosy chairs, great for a pre or post dinner drink. The eclectic very British hotel style gives the feeling that you have come to stay with a good friend, in their London home and they are going to spoil you. The staff team are all very friendly and efficient. Clive and Maria, are exceptionally welcoming and very knowledgeable. Being only a very short walk away from Selfridges and Oxford Street Durrants is near several main tube and train stations and tucked behind the Wallace Collection. It's a relaxed, stylish stay. The Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
