This hotel situated in a very nice part of the town. Close to the beach and natural park trails. The rooms and bathrooms are large and comfortable. Nice garden. But they definitely need a facelift, change old carpet, paint walls. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Cute but old hotel in the outskirt of Cannon Beach
Sep 16th, 2020
A cute but old hotel - just off the main drag of Cannon Beach. Room is spacious and clean. Old facility - but typical of Cannon Beach hotels and lodges. They do provide you with fridge and cooking utensils and a small, but workable kitchen. Few dog friendly rooms and they charge per dog per day. So, can get pricey if you have multiple dogs. Walkable to town center and Ecola State Park. BTW - really slippery when it rains... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We were in #5 on the street side facing Cannon Beach; a lot of traffic but you barely notice; looks older on the outside but all new appliances, a very comfy bed, nice bathroom and about 500' of room. We play a lot of Scrabble so the tables outside were great for that plus people watching...a lot of people go by on their way to the beach w/dogs, horses, some bunnies in the area, skateboarders, bikers, runners; and only a few blocks from the beach and a great location to walk into the main part of town; lots of coffee, and other eating places on the way to our fav's Fultano's Pizza, Oil & Vinegar Shop, and McGregor's...all on 2nd street. We also love the shops along the way and drive to Pelican Brew and on down to Tolovana Inn area where our 20+ relatives were staying. Nice people here, nice flowers, trees, and easy highway access. Clean, friendly, quiet

It is not new...it is clean. It is not fancy...it is comfortable. It does not have a restaurant..but who needs one when the town is full of them. No workout room...but you can get exercise walking to town or if you are fit enough...all the way up the hill to the state park. It is just perfect for a Cannon Beach vacation. BTW..I had room #12. Room 2 must be dog friendly...but the whole town seems to be dog friendly! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This is an older lodge, but it was very clean. The staff was very nice. It is not in the busy area of Cannon Beach. It is a quiet setting, but it is a walk to restaurants. The price is very reasonable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
