Great Family Value & Vacation!

Jul 8th, 2020

A great FL staycation!!! We live in Miami and it was great to get away to a quieter beach community where corona virus cases reported ARE SIGNIFICANTLY less than Miami-Dade! Staff could not have made us feel more comfortable. All employees wear masks. It is obvious that ownership and employees are taking extreme measures to keep this place safe and clean. THANK YOU OPAL COLLECTION! Staying at a family owned resort always feels so different and much more special than a hotel chain. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great rooms, that’s it

Jul 5th, 2020

We were so excited to spend 9 nights in Naples as my husband grew up vacationing there. We treated ourselves and chose the Edgewater with high expectations. Pros One bedroom oceanfront. Room was great! Very clean but the location was fantastic. 70 ft to the water. Alan and CJ were the attendants on the beach and were the kindest hardest working people we met! Cons We spent $6000 at this resort and the service was terrible. First day we couldn’t get any beach towels for 3 hours. Sounds like no big deal but you couldn’t sit on a lounger without it. Spent everyday at the beach and rented a bed in the sand for 3 days. Out of 9 days we were only offered drinks two days. Internet is horrible, no streaming movies. No housekeeping due to Covid unless requested. We requested and they never showed up. Overall for that kind of money, I expected superior service. Very disappointing and would have spent a lot less at the Ritz. Keep in mind our rate was about 40% less than normal. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Relaxing family vacation

Jul 2nd, 2020

We are a family of five (boys ages 16, 14, 11) and stayed in the One Bedroom Tower Gulf View King. Our boys get along and don’t fight so it was fine. Although, it was a tight fit. The couch is L shaped. Two of the boys slept on the pull out couch. The third slept on the part of the L that didn’t become the bed. The beach was convenient and beautiful. The ocean had a very slow drop off. It would be great for younger kids. We’ve stayed at Orange Beach before. At Orange Beach, the waves crash into the shore and are good for boogie boarding. When we were in Naples in June, the water was very calm and tranquil. It was peaceful with very little splashing. There were so many shells in the sand. Service at the hotel was great and responsive. Parking was easy. The fridge is full size. The kitchenette dishes and silverware were removed for covid concerns. The hotel offered to provide disposable upon request. We’d absolutely return if in the area again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fabulous! Would love to come back soon!

Jul 1st, 2020

My friends and I took a girls trip to Naples in June. We couldn't have been happier than we were during our week at Edgewater. The room was huge (2 bedrooms) and it had a great view that we enjoyed every morning from our balcony. Gina and Mark were both great at the pool bar, 2 thumbs up for the food and drinks. Wish I was there now! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
