Nice hotel & spa
Mar 2nd, 2021
I actually visited in January 2020 but I was unable to select a date before April. It was my first time visiting Sante Fe and I fell in love with this charming town. Eldorado is in a perfect location where you can walk to local shops and restaurants. The rooms were uniquely decorated and were very clean. Great views from my room! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Wonderful Stay, Wonderful Staff, Wonderful Location

We stayed here with Travelzoo coupons during Covid times for a friends birthday celebration. All the F&B outlets and spa were closed and the hotel was quite, other than our group of 5 guest rooms. The staff at the hotel (Roosevelt in particular, but also Conner and Security staff) were absolutely amazing! We felt so welcomed and they were over the top accommodating. We were even greeted by name when we walked through the lobby. They always made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. The location is superb, easy walk to the plaza and many restaurants. I would most definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you guys!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Disappointed

Hotel was nice, room was clean, front desk was friendly except the big guy who completely ignored us (3 people) while the receptionist was on the phone, he just walked around but no help. We booked a room with a fireplace and when we asked if someone can come and lit the fireplace the answer was no due to a bad weather outside. I believe this location have a strong wind often so why even bother to build a fireplace and unable to use it. There was a problem with the plumbing in our bathroom, we reported it but it was not fixed before our check out so no morning shower. And don’t believe that the parking and WiFi is free. That’s what the big guy told us. The day after my check out the hotel charged me without my consent for parking, WiFi and two bottles of water. It may be a nice hotel but the this experience simply makes me look elsewhere if I ever visit this area. And whoever is going to reply to this, please create something more personalized, don’t just copy and paste the typical answers that I read on every other review. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Best Views in the Hotel

My husband and I, celebrating our one year anniversary decided to book a hotel downtown for a staycation. Conner was very friendly and helpful in assisting us with our room, and had great knowledge of local accommodations in the area for meals to-go, and what was currently open. The hotel was very clean, and we got the best 5th floor balcony views that we could have asked for, looking directly toward snowy downtown Santa Fe. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a more friendly and accommodating staff! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Probably better to go somewhere else

Wow, where do I start- We check-in and our reservation said we had a fireplace in our room. There was no fireplace. That's ok, maybe there was a mistake. We leave our things there (putting food in the fridge) and head out to get a drink and cruise the plaza. We come back to our hotel, the fridge was not plugged in and our food is hot. That's fine. Then the fire alarm goes off- TWICE. We get settled and are sitting on the bed and talking and SOMEONE WALKS IN OUR ROOM. We hear, "oh sorry" and the door closes. We go to call the front desk, and there's no phone. Oh, and no remote for the TV or alarm clock. We make the best of the night. This is where it gets weird. I can't even describe the night. I'm about 99% sure that place is haunted. I kept hearing strange sounds all night. Vacuuming in the hall at 10 pm or later. There was furniture being moved upstairs. I got up at one point at about midnight and turned on the lights because I can hear strange noises. I loudly say, "who's there?" and the lights turn off. I'm not a superstitious person at all, but this was just eerie. We were going to stay another night but I've never been so happy to leave a hotel and get home. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
