Depressing little hotel in a weird area

As modern and hip as the decor was, this hotel is just flat out sad. Dry dog pee on the floor in the lobby for hours. Shower knob fell off multiple times and only one single towel for me to use my entire stay. Homeless people filling their water bottles just steps away from me getting my coffee. Extremely rude morning desk agent. Dog bag supply out for weeks, so mounds of feces accumulated in bulk to accompany me on my lovely commute from the parking lot to the building everyday. Honestly, if this place wasn't so close to where I needed to be for work I would've preferred to sleep in my car -- at least I would've felt like my belongings were safe in there with me. Missed wakeup call

Called the front desk, and requested the wakeup call. We woke up, on our own, without a wakeup call...As a result I have missed my flight, had to stay an additional day and pay a $120 cancellation fee. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This hotel doesn't take any actions towards COVID-19

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at during the pandemic. I travel for work every week, and this is the only hotel that doesn't care about the pandemic at all. Here's why. 1. They don't have any hand sanitizers for guests. A long term guest there told me the dispensers have been empty for weeks. 2. Housekeepers don't wear their masks, only put them on when guests see them. This is not a show! I walked by and saw them cleaned a dirty room. They left the duvet blanket in the room. The housekeeper told me they always reuse the duvet in the rooms in between guests. GROSS! 3. They claim they leave the room unoccupied for 24 - 48 hours. The truth is NO! The guest stayed next to my room said he saw a guest checked out from my room the same day. YUCK! 4.. There was a big party going on in the courtyard, with at least 20 people. And there were kids running around and messing around in the gym. And the manager doesn't even do anything about it. 5. They say the gym and the pool are being sanitized every 2 hours. I have only seen them clean the gym once a night. And I feel like a stupid kid, when I talk to the General Manager who wears a Superman mask. Where am I? Universal Studio? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice little hotel

Stayed PRE-COVID19... This was a nice little hotel on the outskirts of Las Vegas. There weren't any crazy gambling devices beeping and dinging so this was a nice quiet hotel. Added bonus, there was a Peet's coffee right down the block from there, which you don't see in the NY area, so nice little bonus. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

ZERO Customer Service

I'm incredibly disappointed and actually shocked that this is a Westin property. The property itself appears to be clean with modern conveniences, but the reality is that they do the absolute minimum as far as service. I checked in on a Monday for a 10-day stay and asked for full service (i.e., more than just towel replenishment) after being her for five nights. The front desk person said they could service the room while we were out for about two hours but we came back to find they still hadn't gotten to it. Keeping in mind that hotels were just recently allowed to re-open following COVID-19 shutdowns and they are literally at about 10% capacity (about 15 cars each night in the parking lot.). In five days time, there have been two fire alarms and one complete power outage. I understand that somethings are outside management's control, but keeping guests informed is certainly within their scope of responsibility. But the front desk staff (all three times) just sat there at the front desk providing minimal information and acting as though it was an inconvenience to be asked. The internet service is the worst I've ever experienced as a very frequent business traveler. Again, they offer absolutely no assistance. I see a number of less than favorable reviews on Google and TripAdvisor and it's obviously made no difference at all. The Assistant GM just gives a canned response with no real desire to improve the service provided by his/her team. This will definitely be a one-time stay for me and my colleagues. There are just too many other (much better) choices. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
