I WILL CONTACT CORPORATE. OTHERS EXPERIENCED THE SAME THING AT THIS LOCATION. We checked in at 7pm did not get an actual room key until 1:45am. We were continually told told rooms are waiting to be cleaned. The front desk manager would not offer a discount and the latest we could check out was 12pm. My husband asked was it due to short staffing we were told no. We inquired about a discount. The front desk manager stated,"I'm not discounting anything would you like to cancel"? Really!!!These are definitely rough times, but a friendlier attitude would be better. Threatening to cancel our room gives freezing residents no comfort. Terrible service. I'm a first responder and understand high stress level situations, especially even more since COVID. Some of your staff should take a customer service class along with a touch of etiquette. Hands down the worst experience! I have stayed at the Embassy many times in many different cities before Covid and now during the Covid pandemic. That being said being Hilton members we generally get complimentary water and are allotted a late checkout. Well we had one room for 7 days and the other room for 2 days for our kids. We asked for our complimentary water and were told we had to come down to get it. Then when we sent our teens down to get them they were told we had to pay for the waters! We booked here for the complimentary breakfast only to find out that their complimentary breakfast is worse than a La Quinta!!! They gave us a brown bag with an orange, no name brand yogurt, juice, and snack bar. Now I stayed at the Embassy in Norman and College Station during the pandemic and they offered their hot breakfast they simply had their staff serve each guest. Which is how it should be done!!! Or else don't advertise free breakfast. They need to state on the page that you get a brown bag to go!!!! Now I understand not cleaning everyday but we are in a pandemic they should come at least every two days with clean linens. Well we checked in Friday and by Sunday I had to call down 2xs for towels and toilet paper! So again as Member's we are supposed to be allotted a late check out if needed so my daughters asked for a late check out and the front desk clerk said they couldn't because they were expecting a large party...umm excuse me this is a 6 story bldg and you only have 10 cars in the parking lot! Worst stay ever will never stay here again and recommend you book your stay elsewhere! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Recently stayed at this hotel. Disappointed that the hotel staff did not understand the Hilton Honors system and refused earned benefits. No means being offered due to Covid but provided sack breakfast. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Terrible Customer Service and room in bad shape

We were disappointed in this stay! Between the rudeness of a staff member that we spoke to about needing a parking pass and a late checkout. The ceiling flacking off above the shower and there were block spots all within the grout. When I booked the room she told them we were celebrating our 31st anniversary. I was told they would "put a note in the file, upgrade the room and put a bottle of wine in the room" NONE of that happened. I tried contacting someone over this situation with no results. It just adds to the feeling that they just don't care! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We have been to this hotel before and enjoyed our stay however this trip wasn't as pleasant. When we first arrived our room wasn't ready and they said "oh whoops it was cleaned they just didn't mark it clean, here's your key..." (confused faces) when we got to our room it was obvious it wasn't cleaned. When my husband asked they said "due to covid we only clean the rooms every three days to protect the staff"...um, what???? The problem I see is their Covid policy doesn't seem to make sense. They don't offer coffee downstairs to the public now and you have to purchase it for $3 a cup. Also, my husband went to ask for coffee one morning and nobody was around so he went to look where the coffee is and it was disgusting! Sticky coffee or hot chocolate residue was everywhere where it was obvious they didn't clean anything the night before. So we have to buy coffee, rooms aren't cleaned daily and the breakfast area isn't cleaned? - oh and the bar wasn't available either. I wish we had known that on in the confirmation email. Communication and cleanliness go a longggggggg way....especially during covid. But it was very quiet so that was nice :) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
