Taking into account that there are COVID-19 restrictions, we were still very disappointed. The hotel prices seemed high considering that the amenities we enjoy at Embassy Suites were not available, like the cooked-to-order breakfast and Happy Hour. Ice machines were closed with a sign at the front desk that you could BUY ice. Self-parking is $18/night. The room furnishings were in need of repair. The straight chair in the living room felt like it was about to fall apart; the desk chair tilted forward and is uncomfortable; one of the bedside lamps is broken; the hairdryer didn't work; and the water pressure in the shower was VERY low. We stayed here because of the convenience to St Luke's Hospital. This was our first of several trips up here, but we won't stay at this Embassy Suites again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My family stayed the weekend and from the carpet to smoke smell to sink to bathtub to dirty sheets, leftovers in drawers and coffee pot, worn sheets on pull out sofa, stinky pillows, food stains on wall and carpet in living room, you name it we had the bad experience. The price was comparable to great hotels in the surrounding area and we had stayed at the Embassy Suites 7 years ago when it was at least decent so tried again. Never again! The breakfast was filth and slop. They had little service help to refill and keep things clean. It just turned my stomach and believe me there were plenty of people "chowing" down on all you can eat like savages. The front desk staff could careless if you were there or not. I asked for a manager but the front desk clerk told me she wasn't around???? I left a message for GM, Levi Siedensticker with no call back. I did not expect one. He has run the place down to the lowest of hotel standards. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this hotel. This is about as much time I would waste on this hotel experience and the only time I have ever written a review. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Worst hotel I've ever stayed in

We booked this hotel for a night so we can take are children to Lego Land over the weekend. My daughter pulled out the pull out couch because she wanted to sleep on it. When she pulled it out there were stains on the mattress, a dirty sheet balled up and crumbs along with an empty chip bag. There was blood on the bathroom wall behind the toilet and on the shower curtain. The couch was filthy along with the floor. The fridge had dirt and stains from a drink in it. The worst of it all there was a pair of bloody panties in the closet. We did get a refund!! Worst hotel ever! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Staff was ok, accommodations poor

While the desk staff was not rude, they definitely were not accommodating nor apologetic for their shortcomings. No breakfast as the website still states, but that was fine. They had a grab -n go breakfast that they did not tell us about. Housekeeping never came to clean our room. When we came back late afternoon and told them about it around 4 pm, they agreed they would take care if it while we were out to dinner. We come back around 7 and still nothing. When I asked this time, the same person hands me some towels and trash bags and says they can’t come in the room while you’re there. You can put your old towels and trash outside in the hall. The room smelled wet and mildewy also. Will never stay again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Single worst experience we’ve ever had at a Hilton and at a hotel in general. While the staff was friendly enough, the room was filthy. After driving 15 hours from West Virginia, originating in NYC and arriving at 10pm: Sheets were blood-stained Particles of feces all over the toilet Water from shower would not drain in tub Next morning took shower in tub of freezing water Filthy shades and widows I want my points back from Hilton, to be compensated for this filth particularly during COVID before a class action law suit pops up (clearly we are not the only ones taking issue here) and I hope Hilton reconsiders what it means to own a property like this.
