Good place to stay

Feb 11th, 2020

Overall I was happy with my stay here. I have been staying at this motel for several decades and a few things have changed some for the better and some not. The not....bring back cooked to order French toast and I miss having my Chiltons at the manager's reception! It's a Lubbock staple, and not sure why I can order a vodka soda and not a Chilton. Also it may be time for an update. The rooms/bathrooms could use some fresh wall paper and shower curtains and heaven forbid anyone need to sleep on that pullout sofa! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Dont stay better nicer hotels in the area

Jan 31st, 2020

There are more up to date hotels in the area you can use. This hotel was on the higher end of pricing without the updated figures of others. It is old and out stated. The rooms have a feel of no privacy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great place for family

Jan 27th, 2020

My family and I have stayed at this location three different times along with other families of my daughter’s volleyball and basketball teams. The kids have a great time wandering about the tree tiered catwalks that traverse the atrium-style hotel. The adults could visit in the dining area and keep an eye on them while relaxing and enjoying company. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Mostly Great

Jan 25th, 2020

We spent a night here to hang out at the Spectrum. We had a nice room. I wouldn’t expect an adult to sleep well on the sofa bed but our granddaughter slept well on it. The omelette breakfast was great and the lines weren’t bad at all. We appreciated the free Happy Hour. The lines were longish but not unreasonable. The bartenders worked their butts off. Our room was over the atrium and since we didn’t understand that the bar was open late into night, we found it hard to fall asleep. There was a party right below us that was loud.... shouting loud. If one is there on a weekend, I would keep that in mind in booking a room. The other problem we had was the tub/shower. It drained VERY slowly. Pretty gross when the whole family wants to shower after one another. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
