Premium Floor not supplying Premium Amenities

I just arrived at this location and was told that the premium room didn't come with the premium tray of drinks/snacks/etc. Apparently, although they carry the Embassy Suites name they don't function as an Embassy Suites traditionally. I told them that I booked a premium room specifically for all of the amenities that come with it and as a Diamond Member I know what those things entail. I was then told well since I got the AAA rate, which negates the benefits of the premium floor. Okay, I have booked all over the world with Hilton and never heard that before. I'm waiting to see how they resolve this. To me, at this point, it's the principle of honoring what your online description states. DESCRIPTION BELOW: 2 ROOM PREMIUM SUITE-2 QUEEN BEDS-NONSMOKING Upgraded Premium WiFi, Keurig Coffee Brewer, snacks and drinks. Upgraded amenities in our Premium Suites make for the best experience yet. The assortment of non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and K-Cups are replenished daily. All of our suites include a full made-to-order breakfast and Complimentary Evening Reception featuring beer, wine, premium spirits and light snacks at no extra charge.* No where does it mention except for when you get a AAA discount. At first glance of the room, it seems dated and worn. There is a cut in the chair. Little things make a difference in how you are perceived. I will update as to how they resolve things as well as follow up with a review aftef I check out. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Delivered what I expected

Whenever I am in the Murfreesboro area I stay at the Embassy Suites even though there are lower priced hotels available. The staff is always very helpful. The public area is attractive and clean. The rooms I have had are comfortable and quiet. Very seldom do I hear noise - even if there are convention guests in the Atrium. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My experience was excellent, the service was great, the rooms were fantastic and the travel to and from the airport was painless. The beds were comfortable and I slept well every night I stayed, I enjoyed the event I was there for and the happy hour they offered was wonderful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Embassy is our favorite hotel

Embassy is our favorite hotel, we love that there is a separate sleeping area and 2 TV's and how spacious it is.The breakfast is always very good. I wish Embassy's nightly rate wasn't so expensive, we would stay here all the time! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Check in problems - unacceptable

Embassy Suites Murfreesboro, TN stay November 6-8, 2019. Former stays at this hotel have been exceptional, however, this trip was the absolute worst. I have never experienced such a terrible check in process. We dealt with check-in and problems from about 5pm - 10pm!! A nightmare! The WiFi was down and only one check in station was available. Completely understand this is going to be a slower process. No problem. We received a mini starbucks drink, a glass of wine and a hershey bar while waiting about 45 minutes in line. We thought that was a kind gesture and no complaints at all. There was a manager and 2 other females all helping at one desk for all check-ins. We were attending a conference here and our rooms were paid by our employers by check. There are 4 in our party and 2 rooms. We originally requested adjoining rooms several months before when the rooms were booked (or at least on the same floor). We requested double beds. While checking in, we asked if the rooms were adjoining. The manager stated that the rooms were next to each other so he assumed they were. We were placed on 4th floor. Neither rooms were double beds and they were not even close. My co-worker went back down to the desk to try to get that changed. While I am still standing by one of the rooms that we were just assigned, a lady comes to try to enter this room. She shows me the room key holder where they had written the room # down. Her key doesn't work because the ROOM HAD BEEN ASSIGNED TO US. She goes back down to the front desk as well. My co-worker returns with us a new room just down the hall. She uses the key to open the door and a female is in the room!! Thankfully she had the door latched so it wasn't opened all the way. It scared the poor lady to death. She came out of the room to speak with us and then couldn't get back in her room because the KEY HAD BEEN PROGRAMMED FOR US FOR THAT ROOM. They again go back to check in. We are assigned another room on the 7th floor. The other 2 that are in our party are assigned to the 9th floor. So much for having adjoining rooms or even on the same floor!!!! We finally get in our room with double beds like we had requested. We leave to eat dinner and take my coworker to Urgent Care. She was so very sick. She had a hard time walking and even standing. I assisted her to the room in fear she would fall. We get to our room on the 7th floor (where all of our belongings are). THE KEY DOES NOT WORK!! Which means someone else had been assigned that room and had opened our door causing ours to no longer work like that had just hours before. Thankfully they were honest and didn't bother our things. I have another coworker come stay with my friend who is so sick outside our door while I go back to the desk YET AGAIN!! I explained to the girl that our keys to room 721 no longer worked and our belongings were in there and I sure hoped they still were since someone else had been assigned that room while we were gone! She starts to give me a new key for a room on the 9TH FLOOR!!! I said "Ma'am our room is 721 and our things are inside that room. We need a key to get back in to our room - 721". It took forever because she couldn't find my co-workers name on a handwritten list. I was shaking!! This was completely unacceptable. She never once apologized for the inconvenience or that someone was sick and waiting by the door to get in. The manager (who originally did our check-in) came over and gave me a new key. I understand that there are problems when WiFi is down or there are computer problems, but an entity of the size needs to have a better plan should such problems occur. The following day, my co-worker gets a notification that her credit card was charged for the room total. We had paid by check. We go back to the desk and she states that the check wasn't entered as payment yet but that should come off her card. As of today, it is still pending!! Again unacceptable. Several others were in line for the same thing! I am a Hilton HHonors member and have never experienced such a mess!! Embassy suites Murfreesboro needs a better plan in place for when computer problems arise. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
