Covid business travel

The hotel seems to be trying to do the right thing regarding covid. There is plexiglass at the front desk, and there’s a letter inside the room asking you to call if you have problems instead of coming in person to the front desk. There are a few hand sanitizers throughout the hotel (there could be more). Breakfast is take-away only and they box it up for you to prevent your touching everything. They remind you to maintain social distancing when in line for breakfast. There are signs requiring masks but I saw a few guests remove their masks as soon as they were past the front desk. The room itself was very clean. The pool is closed due to covid. So overall I think they’re doing fairly well when it comes to covid. All rooms face the atrium and so all have the noise of voices echoing in the atrium. But there is a door that separates the living room from the bedroom in each suite, creating another sound buffer. Overall it was very quiet. The room looks like recently redecorated compared to older pics seen on this site. Despite the redecorating, there is some wear and tear (on doors, scratches on bathroom vanity, rust in shower) that make the property show its age. The AC gets cold but very slowly. Frustrating as still not cold enough (I like it really cold) 17hrs after checkin, but then overshot it’s mark abd was super cold by 21hrs after checkin. The only real complaint I have is the bed; the mattress is extra firm. I like a soft bed. This definitely is not. So not good sleep for me. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Concers of Cleaning During COV19 & AC & Air Vents

Check into Embassy Suite by Hilton 5 Star Hotel. We immediately check for cleaning because of COV19, they make you sign and agree to condition of room before you see it. I took pic, bathroom was not clean tub was not clean I have pictures. Hair from someone was left on floor. The Air-conditioned didn't work, air blowing out was hot, maintenance came to look at air said didnt wrk at all. I call down this moto speak with District Manager, she told me I had to wait 6 hrs for a new room. This is total bad business on Hilton and Embassy Suite. They are not keeping people safe or clean. No mask enforcement during COVID Pandemic

Travelers should be advised that this hotel does not enforce mask wearing in the hotel lobby or elevators, and that most guests--at least 70 percent, perhaps more--are not wearing masks in the hotel common areas on July 24, 2020. The lack of any enforcement on masks is in stark contrast to other hotels I have visited during the pandemic and left me feeling very unsafe. I would have refused to stay here if not for the fact that I arrived late at night and felt I had no other option. I'm very disappointed that Hilton would allow this property to operate in a way that puts the health of its guests at risk. I would advise all travelers to avoid this hotel until a Covid vaccine is available. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This was not such a nice stay at the Embassy due to the fact that there was no free quality breakfast and the rooms were small.The room was clean though. We also would have been happier with a much better room rate. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Always a Great Stay

I booked the hotel for my daughters birthday. Unfortunately we did it through booking.com the date of stay was wrong. I called the hotel and Juanita Gulley was so helpful and pleasant to deal with. She helped to get changed. During this time of Covid-19 and trying to have a half way decent birthday. Not being charged an additional fee was great. I love Hilton property's and their employees.
