Excellent Service and breakfast--so good, that it pains me to speak of room problems.

Jan 20th, 2020

My sister, myself and our 92 year-old mother stayed in Rm. 226, and "accessible" suite that had a bedroom with 2 queens, a bathroom, a small kitchenette area and a living/dining area. I booked the rooms over the phone with no issues. When we arrived, check in was fast and efficient. Every time we walked by the front desk during our 4 day/3 night stay, we were greeted and offered help. In fact, any time we walked by any hotel worker we were greeted. We didn't have any problems, but if we had, I am confident that I would have found someone to solve whatever came up. Room was space efficient. The counter space was good in the room, and there was plenty of lighting options and plug ins for accessories. The heating worked great. Our view offered a view of the back parking lot, so we kept the curtains closed. As two of us shared one of the queen beds, I had to fashion a side table by slipping my suitcase between the bed and the wall so I had somewhere to put my alarm clock. It would be nice to have some sort of shelf for that purpose. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of countertop as well as hooks to hang things and places in the tub/shower to put toiletry items. Water pressure was good. The shower had a grab bar inside the tub, but not one as one leaves the tub. The kitchenette consisted of a small sink, a large mirror (super helpful to help 3 women getting ready at the same time to have this extra sink and mirror), countertop with small coffee maker (the pod type) and small fridge. In the lower cabinet on the left was a safe and on the right was a small microwave. It was a nice thought to have the microwave, but it was super inconvenient to use as we had to get on our knees to use it low in the cabinet. For a room that was supposed to be "accessible," the only people who had a prayer of using that microwave were the able-bodied ones. The free breakfast was fantastic! There was a little of everything--your usual waffles and cereal fare, but eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon as well. In addition, there was yogurt, fruit, an oatmeal bar, beverages and you could special order your omelette if you wished. There was some kind of event going on that had the atrium bustling with activity, but we didn't hear anything in our bedroom. Hotel is close to the Seattle Temple, drug store, grocery store, Lil John's Cafe, and various fast food. This was really a wonderful hotel, and I would definitely consider it for future trips. Small adjustments to make the room more accommodating for those with limitations would give it a five-star rating. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Superb accommodation

Jan 20th, 2020

We enjoyed our weekend stay, which was for business at the hotel and found all the amenities and services excellent. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We especially appreciated the complimentary parking instead of being charged the regular rate. The hotel was somewhat difficult to find when we first got there but on successive times coming and going we found the best routes to get there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

First time staying here, hotel grounds are nice. Room was great size for 4 people. Complimentary breakfast is great! Parking was no issue. Laundry service was convenient, front desk was always available and helpful. Short drive time to everywhere we visited! Would definitely stay here again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Value for Seattle/Bellevue

Jan 2nd, 2020

Reception staff was great! Our room had not been vacuumed or cleaned well. Evening reception was a crazy experience. We waited over an hour in line for a glass of wine. (Maybe she could poor faster??). Cascades Resaurant was great. Very noisy hotel all night, not very restful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
