da Scene: Fortunate to work remotely from California for a month, spent 3 weeks at the Waikiki Banyan (see review), and for our last week (including New Years Eve/Day) we stayed at this Hilton property to treat ourselves. GOOD CALL. da Property: At the end of Beachwalk, this is a perfectly located spot. It's got EVERYTHING you need for a week stay... I mean everything. In the hotel... we had a two bedroom suite with separate living area, 2 TV's, small fridge and microware (no cooktops). They re-did the decor with nice Hawaiian patterns and furniture. hallways could use some refreshing... but felt very safe with Hilton CleanStay protocols... elevators did not seem too crowded and guests respected the spacing rules. Close to beach? Literally 5 min walkway to a portion of Waikiki Beach in front of the Outrigger Reef Hotel, also go left in either direction to land in front of the Halekulanui Hotel beach or Fort DeRussy beach. Big Wave Dave's for Coffee/Smoothie and beach board/chair/umbrella rentals - tip... book online when you book the hotel... they sell out fast. Close to dining? Roy's, Ruth Chris, and Yard House all attached to the property, within 5 min walk there are 15+ options from Japanese (Ramen, Tonkatsu, and Sushi), Poke Bowls, Italian, Pastrami/Pizza, a Taormina Sicilian, Tommy Bahama's and Hard Rock, heck even a Denny's. Home made ice cream at Henry's Place... Again, for the busier spots, book reservations online ahead of time... Roy's in particular gets full! Oh, the complementary breakfast is substantial, Fried Rice, omelets, to go along with cereals , coffee, toast, eggs, fruit, juices... don't forget to tip! Shopping? 20+ shops attached to the property like Na Hoku, Ukulele Store, Quicksilver, huge ABC store for groceries, liquor, snacks, and deli food and plate lunches. Longs Drugs too! Then cross the street to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping center for even 100 more shops, or Kalakaua Ave, then about 12 min walk to the International Marketplace... I mean, c'mon... it doesn't END. Very nice pool/lounge area... due to covid, hours are limited 8am-5pm? But social distance and reservations needed for pool/hot tub access. I thought it was gonna be a pain, but it was fine! Even planned New Year's Day at the pool/Cabana and it was great. Bring your own food/drink or order from Yard House. you get the Cabana for the day, so steal away for the beach and come back, they will hold your spot. Loungers are 1st come 1st served... hope they start up food/drink service again soon. da Staff: What can I say... they were fantastic. They treated this once Local Boy like a friend from the start. The bellman (Keoni?) was a Kaimuki grad and kidded me for my Crusader mask... The Front Desk staff were ALL very good, I stopped there daily to break change to tip the valets and housekeeping. Jaymar and Lorena checked in w/ me via txt everyday to make sure we had everything we needed. Finally, the guy taking care of the pool/cabana area on 1/1/2021 was FANTASTIC, how he kept up with all the cleaning and monitoring of the pool & hot tub while firmly but gently making sure guests followed protocols all by himself, he deserves a RAISE! I know this was long... and I could pile on more. If you can... RUN, don't walk to this property, it's just RIGHT. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

First off, we want to start off by thanking Natalie fir helping us find the perfect room, time to spend at the pool, a reminder that YardHouse delivers to the pool for free, and making our family vacation an amazing one! Embassy Suites is perfectly located! It sits right on Waikiki Beach Walk and right across the street from the ocean. The best of both worlds! Guests get to join free hula lessons and they’re taught right there on the beach walk...steps away. Speaking of steps away, the ABC store is directly across the street. We bought snacks, boogie boards, and sunscreen all right there. Even during this covid situation, Embassy Suites has figured out of to safely still provide a hot free breakfast! This is such a huge money saver and a great way to start the day. As far as safety goes, you couldn’t ask for a cleaner place to stay. Safety markers, hand sanitizer stations, and lysol wipes are located just about everywhere. Never once did I feel unsafe or did I notice anything dirty. Another great option for guests is sunrise yoga. We did this our last day to prepare for the long flight home. It’s normally located by the pool, but it rained that day, so it was moved indoors. This is free, by the way! Overall, you can’t go wrong with booking here. I was pleased from the front desk, to the friendly concierge, Tomoko. She was the sweetest! Thank you Embassy Suites for the safe, relaxing, and memorable stay. Can’t wait to visit again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
The best stay we have had in Waikiki
Jan 8th, 2021
Our stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk was awesome! We return to Waikiki Beach area every couple of years and this stay has been the best yet! From check in to check out, we had a great experience! A shout out to Jaymar at the front desk, who helped begin our visit with his exceptional service! Thank you for being so welcoming and making the check in process so pleasant (especially after a day of traveling)! We were upgraded to a partial ocean-view suite that was surprisingly huge for a one bedroom suite! As a family of four (including 2 tweens), we enjoyed the larger space and really felt at home. Even with the COVID-19 related restrictions, we were able to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was take to go, but we were served plenty of food. The one hour a day at the pool was ample enough as were also wanted to spend time on the beach, shopping around the hotel or exploring other parts of the island. (Our kids would spend the entire day at the pool if they could, so it was nice for my husband and me that pool time was limited.) All the safety measures that were put into place gave us peace of mind, so we were able to enjoy our visit to the island! Thank you Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk for a memorable stay! We will be back soon! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Natalie helped me every step of the way with my booking! Amazing service. She made sure that my girls and I had the best time ever. COVID has been stressful so I needed time to regroup and relax. Sandra checked us in and made everything quick and easy. She explained the Hilton Honors App and the contactless key I can use in the app. They didnʻt hesitate to help use with a cabana rental which was literally the best decision ever. I was able to laydown and RELAX for once. As a single Mom, the last thing I want to do on vacation is think of breakfast so early in the morning. But, luckily they HAVE BREAKFAST INCLUDED IN YOUR STAY. Itʻs so easy as just going to the 4th floor and picking up your plate (contactless during COVID) and we enjoyed our breakfast in our room watching tv. Embassy Suites has valet parking which is convenient with two little ones. They are friendly, clean and have amazing customer service. The hotel is by the Beachwalk with YardHouse and other shops and restaurants. Across the street there is an ABC store and a Dennys. In case you want a late night snack. Itʻs near the water too! We walked to the beach at night to look at the stars!!!!! Best hotel ever! Okay last thing. I love that their rooms are SUITES! This means thereʻs a cute living room area AND a room with a door for privacy. Perfect for having the kids take a nap and relaxing in the living room. We will be staying again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
