Secluded and surrounded by Sedona red rocks
A stay here isn't cheap
Although it's about 9 miles northwest of central Sedona, the Enchantment Resort is a hit with recent guests thanks to the peace and quiet afforded by the property's secluded location. The Enchantment's accommodations combine traditional Southwestern decor with contemporary amenities like flat-screen TVs and high-speed Internet access. Some even include fireplaces, kitchens and outdoor dining areas. Recent guests appreciated the resort's attention to detail and outstanding customer service, praising the extra efforts made – like having cold orange juice delivered every morning – to ensure a comfortable stay. When you're not hiking through nearby Boynton Canyon or exploring the surrounding Vortexes, take advantage of the resort's pools, tennis courts and golf course. For a complete spa getaway (and some serious relaxation), the adjoining Mii amo Spa offers several rooms of its own, as well as a long list of treatments. And when you need to refuel, the resort features five on-site eateries including a wine bar.

Travel + Leisure

This Southwest-style resort, made of low-slung adobe casitas in central Arizona's Boynton Canyon, blends into the iconic red-rock cliffs of Sedona, a town known for its artsy, New Age vibe.

The setting is breathtaking (as are the prices), and the pueblo-style architecture blends in with the landscape, as the resort wends its way over nearly a half-mile up the canyon.

Many of the resort's activities are centered around the on-site Mii Amo Spa and its fitness center, including Native American-inspired therapies, fitness classes, cooking demos, art classes, tennis clinics, and on-property canyon hikes.
