Envy Holel Baltimore DOSEN'T EXIST

Feb 20th, 2020

I pulled to the location for the Envy Hotel and didn't see it. I drove around the block twice before my Father indicated that a shut down dilapidated hotel front. With homeless folk camped in the doorway. There was a sign that read; go to Baltimore plaza... address as such.. That hotel is on the other side of the block. The lobby was dull and uninviting. The young lady at the desk couldn't be more bored. And when I came back later she couldn't be more unprofessional. They required a security deposit of $150 to give me the room I booked (which I've never experienced before or saw indicated when I made the booking). She stated that she could waiver the security deposit but wouldn't for that day. She then wouldn't accept the card I had used to make my reservation. As I got rightly upset (and yes I did let fly a few f-bombs) about this mess, which she did not like and called the cops and when they arrived I explained the situation and decided to leave. They seemed surprised by what was happening and the young woman's attitude. DON'T book the Envy Hotel, or the Baltimore Plaza - Ones closed, and other is a Dive of the worst kind. Dirty Hotel

Sep 14th, 2019

The Hotel Ivey in Baltimore was a mess the hotel room was missing a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was rocking on one side in leveled . Dirty lamp shades...The hotel betrayed something different from the pictures on it's website. I'll advise no one to stay here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Needs work & security personnel

Jul 13th, 2019

As a quick getaway for the weekend,we chose this place for its proximity to the main strip in Inner Harbor, without having to spend a lot.I should have known this was a mistake when I saw the word "Junker" engraved just below the building. The lobby itself is even dark & dreary looking, but I could not turn back upon arrival,as my delayed bus from NYC to Maryland got me there at night in the dark instead of the afternoon. The front desk personnel looked like just 2 regular ppl from off the street in regular clothes & no name tags or hotel insignia to speak of.Check in was slow, like the guy had just learned how to work the computer system. Now for the room:the sole chair in the room had a huge set in stain in the upholstery. It looked like somebody had either "come" or "gone" in the chair. As if that wasn't horrid enough, the shower head had visible lime damage all around it.The small hair dryer's vent was cracked & the sink's hot water never even came on.The pipe was shaky. The bed was crammed into this tiny room, with the inside side actually up against the wall with no way for my poor wife to get out of it without climbing over me like an acrobat(THAT part made me smile😊) She was horrified & demanded a room change. The saving grace was a nice employee named Taz who offered to put us up at their sister location Baltimore Plaza Hotel at no extra cost to us.He even walked us over & presented us to the manager there, who checked us in.Much better. To be fair,I don't blame the employees for the hotel's condition. They only work there, but the owner needs to take care of things asap. Its more like a "trap" house then an accommodation as it is now. Horrible and Photos of Hotel are Dishonest

Jul 12th, 2019

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The air conditioning doesn’t work, the service is horrible, the WiFi doesn’t work. The photos I saw of the hotel are not how it really looks. The bathroom door did not shut and the shower doors are broken and dirty. The stairway is DISGUSTING and the elevator rarely works. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
