Amazing Stay!

Jul 19th, 2019

July 5th-8th We came for a weekend at the beginning of July . We were greeted and taken from the airport by the Hotel driver . Only 15 min away the Es Saadi Palace is stunning. A very grand and beautiful lobby with a bar and lots of seating areas. As we were early we were shown to the pool restaurant where we had coffee whilst waiting for our room . It was certainly worth the wait. We had booked a Deluxe Suite and we were not disappointed. It was amazing . Devided in two, our suite was beautifully furnished and had a king size bed and a beautiful big bathroom and on the other side a large living area with table and chairs and a seating area with sofas . Our son was with us too and there was plenty of room for another bed in the lounge. There was also 2 dressing /luggage rooms , a kitchen area and another toilet. Our suite was overlooking the pool and gardens and had a double balcony with loungers and a table and chairs. All staff from Reception, especially Mohsine, to Housekeeping, Bar staff , the staff at Breakfast and the restaurant plus the guys at the pool bar, were all courteous, friendly and very professional. On our first night we went to the Moroccan restaurant. Which had beautiful views overlooking the pool and gardens. Impeccable charming service and our meal was delicious. We opted for the beef tagine and the slow cooked lamb (for 2 ). Breakfast each morning was a delight lovely fresh food and omelettes and eggs cooked to order . We also chose to have lunch in the restaurant each day which was also very good . Overall we loved our stay at the Es Saadi Palace and would love to return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel in Marrakech

Jul 12th, 2019

Spent the weekend at the Es Saadi Palace in Marrakech. Chose this over one of the many Riads and was not dissapointed. 5 star luxury but still an authentic Moroccan experience. Rooms are great, staff friendly and courteous TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fab!

Fantastic location - a lovely walk down to the Jemaa El Fna and also walking distance to the new town. We stayed in the Junior Suites and they were lovely - full of character, large and very comfortable. The pool side area is lovely. The cost of food in the hotel is ludicrous but the quality is very good. The breakfast buffet is limited in my view, but acceptable. I’d happily return! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fell short

May 26th, 2019

We stayed here for our last night of a week’s stay in Morocco. Our previous 6 nights had been spent in a Riad in the Médina, a kasbah in the mountains, night under canvas and a Riad in Ait Ben Haddou. The service provided at these surpassed the Palace by far. All offered welcome drinks and staff went out of their way to be welcoming and friendly. The staff at the Palace were bordering on rude (reception) friendly (Moroccan restaurant) and at times slowwwwwww. Our room was lovely, don’t quite get the welcome of one cake when there’s 2 of you though! Pool area and spa excellent. Pool snacks and drinks, expensive, but the buffet in the Moroccan restaurant tasty and good value. Breakfast good except many of the yoghurts were ‘fizzy’ When finally found one which wasn’t, it was delicious! Wine was competitively priced. Wouldn’t choose to stay here again as the service was not up to the standard it should be for a five star hotel and is certainly not a good advertisement for Moroccan hospitality.
