Attention! Construction Site across the street!

Oct 30th, 2019

Attention, loud construction site opposite and no information about it in the booking! Unfortunately our holiday was affected by a loud building site. This may not be a problem for people who leave 7am the house, but for us it was one because we wanted to sleep late, in our vacation! Our 2 emails with the request to change the apartment were not even answered until today! We asked for a move to the other side of the building. Pitiful! Maybe they read this now! The apartment is ok. Some old, worn out furniture and a shower in which the water doesn't drain off. The warm water is not enough to take a bath. There are no extra towels or intermediate cleaning. But a washing machine and dryer. It's ok. Coffee for the first morning was available. Thanks for that. It is very unfortunate that this management is so little concerned about its guests. Hospitality is different. But this is perhaps the American version of it. Who knows. The location is great, Boston is worth a trip but you should stay somewhere else. Too bad. The construction site will be there for a while. Attention! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I don't often write reviews, but I'm making an exception. These apartments are not only nice, but they are immaculate. Okay, that being said, the second we got there we were promised, cuz I confirmed, that we could pay extra to get private garage parking, or that we would be able to park out front without being towed and there wouldn't be that many people parking out there, this was a ridiculous farce. There was a very nice gentleman at the front desk after 5:00pm who had no help or information as to how to get that garage for us because he was not informed by the higher-ups. Nor did he know the rules about if we would have been towed, because he was not informed by the higher-ups. So they stick this poor guy out front to deal with the angry mob that wants to get a parking spot, or get a garage for their vehicle for the place they just pay $200 to stay at. We almost just left and went to another hotel and had this entire foolish matter removed from our credit card completely. Luckily, and I mean like (you're in a mall at Christmas time and someone pulls out of a parking spot lucky), we found a spot and it said "no parking from 8 to 6 or your car will be towed since it was a Friday night it was close to 6" we took a chance, which is not a good time when you're trying to go to a show in Boston and you just want to park your car in front of the place or you're staying at. Here's the next problem, the directions that the gentleman sent us in the email explain to us how to get into our place, which by the way is lock boxes, and keys and codes-I felt like I was in a spy novel. Without the help of the nice gentleman that I mentioned earlier at the front desk we would have never found our place because it was like two buildings down and around the corner. I am giving this place two Stars only for its beauty, and its cleanliness. If you like challenge, and mystery, and possibly a $300 tow fee, then this is your place. Not to mention, that reading the fine print on the letter that was sent to my email it appears that they want us to take our trash out and clean the place ourselves. Someone must be on drugs? This place, although gorgeous, has the worst service I have ever experienced. After trying to contact service 6 times about parking my car was towed without notice. To this day service has still not responded to my calls or emails. I should not have to pay for towing when they did not hold up to their accommodations. Do not waste your money. Not worth it. Terrible service

Sep 20th, 2018

I arrived and they gave me two different apartment numbers, said there was a maintenance issues. Problem was, they didn’t specify which one was the new one. Also, none of the codes worked. I could not get a hold of ANYONE. I was locked out. I used the code on a random one and it worked. Slept in a random one because I had been locked outside for an hour and it was midnight. At 6:45am the construction started. Do I need to say more? After being left outside, provided with the worst check in instructions that were full of typos and gave me the wrong apartment number and codes and having that wonderful wake up call... I tried contacting them the next day to no avail. They will not respond. They don’t even care. I want a refund! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Super location, spacious and clean

Sep 17th, 2018

Evolve East Boston 2132 was perfect for our weekend visit to Boston. It is located only 1 train stop from Logan airport, and then 1 more train stop to downtown Boston and the Freedom Trail. The price was almost half the cost of hotels in the area. The apartment is spacious and clean, with space for relaxing and a full kitchen. The building is right on the bay, and there are benches to sit and enjoy the ships and yachts coming and going with the Boston skyline in the background. Now, the buts. The Wi-Fi did not work, and our email to customer service was not answered. We couldn't figure out how to work the big coffee maker and would have preferred a k-cup machine or Mr. Coffee. The check-in instructions were changed the day of our arrival and were confusing, but the building concierge was very helpful. There are only a couple of restaurants and a convenience store near the train stop, but lots of dining options one stop away in downtown Boston. As a help to those using the train, here are instructions from Logan. Board the Bowden Blue Line train at Logan Airport towards downtown Boston. Get off at the first stop, which is Maverick. Exit the station at the end by the front of the train using the escalator or elevator. Once at surface level, you will be in a park area. Turn south with the rock fountain behind you and walk along the sidewalk for one block toward the harbor. At the waterfront, turn left and walk half a block to the building entrance just before the large glass pool atrium. If we return to the Boston area, we would stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
