Notwithstanding that an extended stay property may mean fewer amenities, this property provided a less-than-expected stay. The property has some deferred maintenance issues that need addressed, but overall the staff provided Luke-warm reception, preceded by the clarifying statement that you are acknowledging that daily room service is not provided. Lesson to self: read the fine print if booking wedding anniversary and potential relocation opportunity to your spouse...don’t stay here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

If you book tentative check out date!

Nov 27th, 2019

Booked through corporate website for 2 months stay, during the check-in, I asked the front desk about extension policy and they informed me that you only need to come one day before your check-out and extend, I made 3 payments during my stay and on each time I used to ask the same question, what is your extension policy? and I got the same answer from different people YOU CAN EXTEND ONE DAY BEFORE YOUR CHECK-OUT; on last weekend before my check-out, I requested front desk to pay for another month, she said its too early!! you still have a week and can’t receive payment now, just come back1 day before your check-out date! That night, I arrived like 6:30 pm and asked the front dest to extend my stay for another month! She checked the system and said, for some reason the system won’t allow me to process extension! the manager was already at home so she called her with speaker on, the manager said (from home) he should contact the 3rd party whom made his booking! it was not through Extended Stay America !! I showed the front desk the conformation email which I received 2 months ago from v-apartments@extendedstay.com ; she said I DONT KNOW I called the customer service and they confirmed that I made my booking directly through extended Stay and not through 3rd party!! I said, OK so please extend my stay for another month! she said I can’t but I can offer you another deal which is more expensive!! She escalated the issue to guest relation who offered me the same! because my account is currently locked by local hotel system! He escalated to his supervisor, she denied the account locking and described the incident as unfamiliar code issued by new department which was not well recognized by local hotel personnel and said I can’t do anything now, we should check with hotel manager tomorrow morning and might be able to fix the issue!! and transferred the line to same guest relation who tried to sell me membership and other type of service!!! it was already 8:00 pm and I have to be at office by 6:30 am so I spend the night packing my 4 bags staff along with small items from drawers/bathroom/refrigerator It was a horrible last minuet experience, they leave you with no time and offer more expensive option to extend your stay! either intentionally to increase the price or because they can’t use the new system! I decided to find another place so I booked another hotel, I can’t depend on last minuets deal over the phone, I don’t see the manager as I leave early morning and return late evening If you book tentative check out date, prepare your self to a Micky Mouse games other than that, limited TV options, noisy refrigerator, location is good, fairly safe, though make sure to lock your car doors as I noticed a girl walking between cars trying to open doors, easy access to freeway and walking distance to stores and restaurants; its a smoke free hotel, though, sometimes you might smell weed in lobby area, Not sure if one of front desk or guests TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very basic bare bones hotel at a fantastic location; near highways and restaurants

Nov 11th, 2019

I expected a bare bones hotel and would not have been disappointed had there been a coffeepot, hair dryer, dishes and pots and pans in my room. I had to ask for these items and wait for them to bring them to the room. Also I had to request toilet. No extra roll in the room. I really expected all of these items to be in the room when I checked in. I also had to wait 30 minutes for check in at 2 am because the system was updating. Other than that, the room was fine and I loved the location. Keep in mind that it is old. Wifi was great. Plenty of parking. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worn out.

Sep 12th, 2019

Broken refrigerator handles, rust on the stove and in the shower. Very limited power outlets. The bed was ok and the AC worked. The pillows are very flat, on the smallest "queen" bed I've ever seen. The internet is incredibly slow unless you shell out money for 1.5x's the speed, hahahahahahaha, would get to snails pace if you wanted to drop the money. The breakfast was a granola bar and cup of coffee. The price works for my company but I'd never stay here otherwise. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Such a comfortable stay

Jun 19th, 2019

It begins with staff. The staff here, at this location is awesome. If there are any issues, they take immediate care of it. Very warming feel. When my company gets ready to find a place for me to stay, in Austin, I suggest this one. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
