Heads Up

Weekly Room Cleaning / Guest Services My stay at this property was for almost 2-months. I sent a message to ESA and received no response so maybe a social media post will help other guests choose better options who are staying longer than a night. I’ve also read comments from Management on guest reviews and I don’t see much has changed except apologies rather than using that info to provide a better guest experience. I understand staff are not allowed to move a guest’s things and I’m ok with that, but your cleaning and guest services are unacceptable. My concerns have nothing to do with COVID-19, but I’m also disappointed that not a single communication has been provided by ESA regarding your steps concerning this virus outbreak. Where’s your social responsibility? • Half of the washers are out of order. I’ve seen the signs on washing machines for over a month. • The clean custom kitchen that was delivered to my room was disgusting. I had to clean the dishes and silverware myself. The custom clean kitchen was provided in a dirty tub. • Bed linens are replaced with stained sheets and pillowcases. How could the staff not know this when making a bed? o Had I known I would have brought my owns bed linens. o Throw out linens that are soiled and dirty when the washing cycle has no affect. • You use non HEPA rated vacuums attached to your cleaning carts that are used in other rooms were pets have stayed. o This is unacceptable based on quests who have come from medical facilities or have pet allergies. o I would suggest investing in quality commercial vacuums. o Every Monday when I come back from work my room smelled like a wet dog has been there. • Dusting / Surface Wiping o This most of all confuses me. Dusting a TV and its stand should be done weekly including the top of the frig. o Bathroom mirrors should be wiped clean as well. o Door mats are not cleaned of debris. o I could go on, but you get the picture. • The shower goes hot and cold every use. Never a constant temperature. • While the location is great your housecleaning services are marginal. o I understand all about consumer options, low cost motels, profit margins and controlling expenses, but your property is no different from Red Roof or Day’s Inn. • Some Pluses o Location o Local food options and shopping o Front desk staff are responsive o Quiet o While guest reviews did mention roaches and bed bugs, I did not have that experience. • You get what you pay for!!! Third time lucky?

Mar 10th, 2020

We have a great manager here at ESA, Medical City - Fort Worth. Derrick is doing his best however this is the third room so far - room 1 reeked of cigarette smoke - room 2 has additional ‘guests’, we weren’t there long before we captured a live bed bug in a glass to show Derrick - we are scrubbing /vacuuming this 3rd room. We’ve prepaid the entire stay here so we are grateful for the effort on Derrick’s behalf to work with the existing conditions - he has refunded one night’s stay as an apology token and supplied us with requested cleaning equipment. He has stayed professional throughout. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Big Security Fail

Nov 11th, 2019

Our experience with Extended Stay in Ft. Worth was horrible. In fact, we didn't even spend the night. I booked in advance and called that day to confirm a late arrival. Exhausted and ready for rest, we checked in and went directly to our room, only to find that we were given a key card to someone else's room....who was in it!! What a scary security mistake! Immediately checking back with the front desk, we were put off by the angry clerk who claimed it wasn't her fault someone else was in our room. Really? After waiting 30 minutes, she slapped a yellow sticky on the counter with a scribbled phone number. They were all booked and someone on this line would relocate us and goodbye. No apologies. We do not recommend!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awesome stay. This crew is very professional and very talented at their craft of giving the visitor a wonderful experience and you can tell they strive to assure you that you are welcome here. I highly recommend you visit this establishment because you are surrounded by talented people who care for your wellbeing and their career and it shows in their everyday performance of hard work and treatment of guests. Lexi is a scary force of talent and a go-getter. They have earned my business the old fashioned way with hospitality and work ethic. Great job Extended Stay America! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
