Very nice hotel

Feb 13th, 2020

I have been in this hotel for about a week and I would definitely recommend it because of its excellent service. I feel very confident, I feel like home. It is very clean and quiet. It also has a very nice swimming pool and a very helpful laundry. Very nice hotel TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Traumatizing Experience

Jan 15th, 2020

I had an incident at this hotel on 1/12/20. I went to the front desk to ask if there was a vending machine. They said it was outside by the pool. I went outside where there was about 7 or 8 men at a table and all stopped talking and were staring at me. I never found the vending machine because something felt off. I went back to my room and I feel like I was followed. I heard footsteps behind me when I got off the elevator (the stairwell was right next to the elevator). I rushed toward my room and didn’t look back until I got into the room. Not even 5 minutes later someone was banging on the door. My son was terrified because he heard me call a friend to tell him what happened. I called the front desk and told them what happened and the lady there gave me an attitude so I immediately called the police for an escort out from my room to my car as I just wanted to leave immediately. I was definitely followed and am traumatized by this experience and how I was treated by the front desk. I asked that day to speak with management and told no one was there to speak with and called multiple times and they took my number and said someone would call me back and no one has. I was also given an attitude when I called. I have also put in an email to corporate. I don’t understand why I would be treated this way when I had a bad experience like that. I am so disappointed and I’ve never dealt with anything like this at a hotel before. I would advise that women traveling alone or with children avoid this place at all costs! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Inexpensive hotel near Disney / Universal parks

Jan 14th, 2020

Stayed here recently for a short visit to Orlando. Just needed a place with reasonable prices and your basic amenities and the Extended Stay America has those. The "Grab and Go" breakfast was nice and included cereal, breads, yogurt, coffee/milk/jiuces. The hotel was undergoing some maintenance with all of the carpets being replaced so there was lots of workers around. I did also notice some excessive drinking at the pool with groups of young people. My room was comfortable, with a full kitchen and free WiFi. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We keep going back for more!

Jan 3rd, 2020

We've stayed at this hotel many times over the last few years. We've tried many hotels in Lake Buena Vista and International Drive, but this is always our first choice now when visiting Disney(we usually stay 2 to 3 weeks at a time). We're glad we discovered this little known about gem. We choose the room that has 2 queen beds and a fold out sofa bed which is great for three adults and a child. We don't know of anywhere else in the area that has this configuration. Rooms are only cleaned and bedding / towels changed once a week but you can go to reception as often as you like and get clean towels and bedding and anything else which you need. You can pay for extra cleaning if required - either $5 or $10 depending on which level you choose. Pool is very basic but jacuzzi is always hot. It is located very conveniently for all of the theme parks - just a short hop to the I4. The local area is quiet, but there are plenty of places to eat and drink within a short drive, or even walk. Staff are great and on the whole hardworking, always willing to sort out any problems. Waleskja and Sarah are particularly helpful and pleasant. Although basic, breakfast is a bonus and saves quite a bit of money. There is cereal, porridge, toast, bagels, waffles, yoghurt, cereal bars and muffins as well as juice and coffee. It can get quite busy at times, so you have to pick your moment; alternatively you can take it back to your room and eat there. Crockery and cutlery for rooms has to be requested on arrival, but this is clearly notified on check in. You can also get a toaster, coffee maker, saucepans and a frying pan. Dishwashers are useless! The fridge / freezer is huge - great to chill or freeze drinks to take to the parks. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fantastic little place!

Nov 17th, 2019

My daughter & I checked in at 12:30am on Sunday morning after “hanging out” in Disney Springs all night. I had pre-paid for the room. Check in was quick, efficient & easy! The girl at the desk was helpful. We Drove the car around the side. Walked back into the hotel & up the elevator. Room was big & well kept. Everything seemed clean & the beds were very comfortable. I thought for sure we would be up early, but fortunately it was so quite, we slept until 9am. Shower was great. We will definitely be returning to this great hotel! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
