Always stay here when visiting Jackson. It is a clean and convenient location. The rooms are cleaner than many other hotels in the area. Inajas and Edward are very professional and courteous. Lobby smells fresh. I’ve always pleased with my stay. <3 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not so great anymore.

Feb 12th, 2020

I used to stay at this location 2 years ago when I was in nursing school and never had issues. However, this time around was different. I booked the room for 5 nights. The phone inside the room didnt work yet it would charge me $1 every time I tried to use it. "Free wifi" apparently is a thing of the past. I had to pay $6 a day extra to be able to use decent wifi. There is an extra $20 charge per night for housekeeping. The staff act completely clueless when asked questions and communication here is terrible. Went in one morning and the two young girls at the desk ignored me and gossiped the whole time I was in there. The water in the bathtub was brown. The shower had hair all over the wall sticking to it from someone that stayed before us. The air conditioner fan wouldnt work the majority of the time but the heat would. Lastly, there apparently was some sort of work going on because on three of the days we were woken up early by hammers and saws going above us. I wont be booking a room here for quite a while. Was very disappointed and I used to love it here! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not the best ESA

Dec 28th, 2019

Very dated. Certainly not the best ESA that I have ever stayed at. You has to ask for glasses and any other utensils that you needed. No ice. First room we had had garbage in it. They did move us right away. Staff was very friendly but property needs work. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

No water for check-out!

Nov 13th, 2019

During the night of my stay, there was heavy rain and this resulted in a leak in the bathroom. The main issue, however, happened the morning of check-out when I went to shower and noticed no water coming out; same with the sink. I called the front desk to ask what was going on and the lady indicated that the water had been turned off so the maintenance crew could work on some pipes. She proceeded to say that I should've received a notice explaining this. I asked where it was supposed to be and she said either under the door or on the bed. There wasn't any notice. Furthermore, she questioned me as though she didn't believe that I didn't receive a notice. (Why would I be calling to find out what happened with the water if I had gotten a notice explaining what had happened with the water?!) Her only response is that she'd have to talk to the person responsible for putting out the notices. As a result, I wasn't able to shower. When I went to check-out, Edward and Jennifer were at the front desk. Since Jennifer was initially on the phone with another guest, I spoke with Edward about the situation and asked for an adjustment on my room bill. He was generally aloof and seemed hesitant to make the change. He first said, "I can take $10 off?" I countered for half. Edward made a remark that I was already there on a discount, which I found both insulting and irrelevant. Jennifer interjected and they said they could take off $20. This was fine, but I felt like there was no empathy about what had happened and also made to feel like I had to beg to get an adjustment. During the exchange, I asked Edward the time frame when this pipework was occurring, which turned out to be from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. So they decided it was a good idea to shut off the water during the height of check-out time? Wouldn't it have been a better time frame to do this after check-out and before check-in (12 p.m. - 3 p.m.)? Overall, I just felt like this was poor planning and even worse customer service.
