A feast for the eyes

The artwork...simply stunning. The staff..amazing. The decor...wow! I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Everything was well appointed in the rooms and the room plan itself was well thought out. The shower was so large I could have had a party in it! The refurbished fixtures were a very cool and hip touch. The bed was comfortable, the linens and pillows were lush. The bathrobes were so comfortable, I wished I had taken one home with me! I highly recommend staying at this gem in Phoenix! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Too hip for it's own good.

Bed frames and desks are made of steel beams. Brutal when you run into them in the middle of night. Floor is bare cement. European shower floods the bathroom if you accidentally stand on the drain. Walls are so thin that you cannot only hear people talking in the next room but smell their pot as well. Hotel is clean, beds are very comfortable, and the restaurant downstairs is excellent. Nice Hotel, Meh Experience

Jul 18th, 2019

Pros: We loved the room! The rate is really what got us to book. We only needed somewhere to stay for 1 night before our flight the next morning. You get a feel for being in the arts district when staying here, and while we ultimately didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, the prices were much more reasonable than most other hotels with a restaurant/bar. Bed was comfy and I took some inspiration from the room decor and aesthetic. We poked our heads out at the pool and it looked nice, but on the smaller side. We had a little patio area, which was nice. Hotel location seemed to be good, we don't know the area but we were able to easily walk to restaurants in the neighborhood. Cons: They charge you $25/night for parking! Like, what?!?! We live in Atlanta and understand the need to charge for parking, but come on! $25 is steep!!! Had I known this, I would have returned our rental car early before we checked in and just Uber'd to the hotel and then to the airport the next morning! Additionally, there was a cannabis convention going on when we checked in (which is fine, I have no problem with that) but they really don't have the space so check in was kind of chaotic. Not to mention, our room was on the first floor and we could hear a lot of the noise that flowed from the action lobby area. Noise continued throughout the night, as we also noticed our room was positioned right by the employee and delivery entrance to the hotel. Again, the room was nice, but the room location left much to be desired. We may have been placed on the first floor due to the convention, but we were a little disappointed and mildly sleep deprived upon checking out due to these factors. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Chic, Contemporary, Beautiful Hotel

Jun 25th, 2019

My favorite part of this hotel experience is the ambiance. With the woods and shades of blue and gray, the style of the hotel is very modern and clean. The service was great and the people were friendly. Parking sucks, so if you manage to find a good spot, just never leave your room again or call a rideshare company. This is a downtown property so some parking limitations should be expected. Overall, great choice. You won't be disappointed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

fun hotel with decent location

great hotel, great staff, quirky decorations, recommend staying here. Your car has to be valet parked due to limited parking. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom sink was double sided (hard to describe) and was quite unique. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
