Across the street from the airport
Nov 21st, 2019
We stayed here while visiting friends who lived nearby. It was an inexpensive option on a an early winter night. The place was packed with hockey tournament families and travellers. It was quite noisy in our room with planes taking off overhead even though we did not face the airport. We knew when each one left Buffalo! The room was clean and tidy. The staff friendly. The breakfast offered no surprises from any other Fairfield, fruit was fresh. My husband enjoyed swimming laps in the pool (it was long and deep enough for him to do this. a soak in the hot tub later helped a travel weary back. I am not a big fan of the bulk dispensers in the tubs/showers, but understand the reasoning behind the, It was hard to tell the difference between the containers to know what you were getting. This served the need we had at this location. We were not recognized as Bonvoy elite members, but hey were buys and this time we didn't care. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Overall a good stay

Have stayed here many times on my trips to Buffalo to visit with my mother. Overall this was a good stay. Check in was handled by Thad, he was very professional and hospitable welcoming me to the hotel. He did well to thank me for being a Marriott Bonvoy guest and for my loyalty to Marriott. He explained the hours for breakfast. He took my credit card as well as my ID during the check in process. Thad upgraded me to a mini suite as a thank you for my loyalty to Marriott and I appreciated it. After explaining the location of the elevators I departed the front desk. Thad failed to offer me my gift of points or $10 from the gift shop for my status with Marriott Bonvoy. My guest room was nice, wifi worked great, the room was clean and fresh. Many channels on the television. Overall quiet for an airport hotel although one night the guests next to me were talking loud and woke me up at 2AM. This hotel has tub showers and mine was slippery. I do prefer stand alone showers. The dispensers for the bulk shampoo had the labels pointing to the back so it was hard to determine what you were using. The bed was comfortable and the linens crisp. Housekeeping was inconsistent in not replenishing the decaf coffee and I had to go down to the Front Desk to obtain packs. The breakfast buffet is standard for a Marriott select service hotel. I enjoyed the strawberries offered on one morning but found the fresh pears hard as a rock. I met a young man in the buffet area who was very hospitable. His name was Hercules and management should commend him for his hospitality. A waffle station is available to make your own waffle and there are plenty of cereal options for the kids. I was disappointed that sliced cheese and cold cuts are no longer on the buffet as in times past. This hotel has an excellent fitness area. Lots of equipment and a television channel listing. My only issue was that I could not receive CBS to watch the SEC game on Saturday afternoon. All the treadmills were snowy and no way to get the CBS game to show. I love the hot tub and used it every day. Not many hotels have a hot tub anymore and I do appreciate that ownership has decided its importance as an amenity to the hotel. The swimming pool is great for kids. Great location and good service make this a good hotel. My gues TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Wonderful night stay

We stayed at this Inn the night before our flight. The front desk check in was wonderful. The room was clean & quiet, even on the first floor. Breakfast was good and the area was very clean. This Inn doesn't have a restaurant, but there are a number of restaurants within walking distance. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This hotel is across the street from the airport which is great for early morning flights. It is also a good location when you want to do some sight seeing in the area. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast bar is fully stocked daily with great choices. The weight room is great for early morning workouts to start the day. The in room amenities were first class. Beds are comfy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
