Lousy customer service

Nov 13th, 2020

Over all not impressed by the customer service. They held $100 on my credit card and it took 5 months for them to release it. I had to contact the Corporate Office to solve the issue. I will be looking for another hotel If I visit the area again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not Covid clean.

Sep 12th, 2020

The hotel is discussing. My first room the tv didn't work and the carpet was full of stains. I didn't look around much as the night auditor offered me a different room.room number 2 was so gross. The air conditioner was broken. One bed was clearly slept in, the other bed had hair in it. The beds were two different heights as well. Floor not vacuumed stains on carpet, dead bugs in the tub pieceses of vomit in and on top of the toilet. But the tv worked. The night auditor moved me to room #3. This rooms as well was not very clean. At this point it was 1am I worked all day and flew up from Florida since my mom had serious emergency surgery and my focus was on her. Carpet stained. Ac vents and filter filthy, dried up contact on counter, stain from toothpaste in bathroom mirror. Afro-American hair on the walls of the bathroom ( it could not have been mine I'm european decent). Rust in tub, nice try covering it up with a no slip liner. Mold in tub. Pubic hair on the back of toilet and some type of human matter maybe dried blood or snot on light switch. Crumbs on the floor. I was so tired from a full day I just gave in and got my disentfecting wipes out and wiped the whole room myself instead of moving again. One of my towels also had a big black stain as well as a washed blood stain on it. This should have never been folded to be put into a guest room instead out into reclaim for further cleaning. If it wasn't so late I would have chosen a different hotel. There were nasty hand prints on the door from the time I checked in until check out (2 nights) luckily they were automatic doors because I would not touch them. Cooridors are dirty. Stains everywhere, big bags of trash in hallway and outside. Certain spots of the 2nd floor corridor feel like your gonna fall thru it. I am an Assistant General Manager for the Fairfield brand here in Florida so I know the cleaning policies during Covid very well. This hotel clearly doesn't care about guest safety or cleanliness. Also the 7-3 desk clerk was at the desk several times without her mask on. I get it the masks are hot, I have to wear mine at work as well but if she needs a minute with it off she could have gone to to the back. Clearly this property is not standing up to the Marriott Wide Covid cleaning protocols. Had I not been so tired and concerned for my mom's health and her medical emergency I would not have ever stayed here. If felt very dirty. The only thing this place has going for it is the night audit lady working September 9 and 10. I didn't catch her name but she was extremely nice and was truly genuine. You can tell she cares about the property and guest satisfaction, it's ashame you don't have more of her TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very in need of update

Sep 7th, 2020

The staff was nice but walking in there were tables piled everywhere and not inviting. (Partly because of COVID but it felt just neglected.). Room was old and AC made noise and just felt like it needed some care. Had a smell of smoke. Carpet had stains and needed to be replaced or deep cleaned. I have been to other Fairfield Inns and did not feel this meet the standard. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and there was a basic grab and go breakfast because of COVID. No issue there. The pool is closed but I have been to some places where it’s open in same region with a sign up. Not a bad place but I would not come back. Facility needs an update TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Yesterday I stayed in this hotel and it was terrible. I didn't like it. They have bad cleaning equipment, hairs in the bathroom, a broken toilet seat. I wouldn't go back to that hotel. I recommend that you hire efficient people in your work to clean the rooms. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stay away from this location!

May 22nd, 2020

This hotel is nowhere near comparable to the Fairfield Inn Suites by Marriott name. If corporate were to actually walk into this location they would be ashamed that this hotel even has the Fairfield Inn Suites name. The hotel needs a full renovation. This was the first weekend myself and other essential workers were able to get off since COVID-19 started. The goal was to celebrate all birthdays and relax since we have all been working ridiculous OT. We had so many issues such as the following: --Hotels smells like mold or someone has been smoking all through it even though it is a non-smoking hotel. --Microwaves not in jacuzzi suite rooms. --Door handle for room 103 kept falling off. (Maintenance eventually fixed) --One person in party they were unable to locate the reservation but money was deducted from their account and Priceline said it was still in their system. --Rust in bathtubs --Tried to switch rooms.. Ending up getting a room the hadn't been cleaned at all (bathroom filthy with piss & turds in the toliet. Bed unmade comforter and and pillows on the floor)--Room 208 --Reserved two whirlpool rooms and both whirlpools will not keep water in the (Maintenance eventually fixed the next afternoon) --Another party they overcharged her card and didn't releases the funds until the Thursday after we checked out. In conclusion this hotel is more so a Days Inn/Motel 8 atmosphere. This hotel is not even in close comparable to any Fairfield Inn Suites by Marriott. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
