Always enjoy Batterywharf
Dec 12th, 2019
This was my 4th stay at BatteryWharf Hotel and as always everything was spot on. My wife and I love access to Exhale gym and the quiet location of the property at the bottom of the North End. We got an unexpected room upgrade at check-in because of booking through Amex. The suite was sweet. Props to Khalid, he is one of the valets. What a great guy. Always greeting people with a smile from ear to ear. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A place to rest
Dec 8th, 2019
The hotel is an excellent place to rest from the every day work, soft pillows and a good bed. The view from the window is a good view with the landscape of boat and water. Near of several places with excellent Italian food ns pastry. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

TERRIBLE SERVICE - Will NOT provide housekeeping
Dec 5th, 2019
***NOT EVEN 3 STAR SERVICE*** Service is a joke - if you have a terrible sense of humor. I called at 3:30 pm to house keeping to get turn down service. The woman on the line confirmed and said "perfect, we will send some one up in 30 minutes." 8 hours later, when I came home, the room was still a mess and not turned down. We did not have clean sheets or towels. I called down for towels and the person on the line said they could not send towels and there is no housekeeping. It would have to wait until morning. Over 15 hours will pass until I get service. ***NOT EVEN 3 STAR SERVICE*** Go anywhere else. Seriously. Not worth it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
First time Trip Advisor reviews have let me down!!!!!!
Dec 3rd, 2019
I count on TA and traveller reviews almost exclusively when looking for a hotel and this is the first time I have been disappointed. All the great reviews about how nice it all is are just not true. The rooms are in SERIOUS need of an update. We booked a suite - and while it was large - it felt icky. The cream carpet had lots of stains so that I didn't want to walk barefoot - ditto for the chairs around the little table, I laid my coat down first so I could sit. There was a sewer smell coming from the toilet. The furnishings are old and unattractive and perhaps the worst was the mattress with a giant indent so bad that it hurt my back. I ended up finding one tiny firm strip 3/4 of the way across and tried to not roll into the crevasse. The bathroom was weird too. The bathtub and shower were all in 1 room, enclosed by a glass door. So, the floor of that area was like 1 big drain, the robes and towels were hanging in there too. The toilet area had a frosted glass door - why? Not much privacy. Yes there is a strike happening and that was uncomfortable too but they strike from 7am - 7pm and take breaks and usually people are out sightseeing most of the day. We only stayed 1 night of our stay and changed hotels. It is in a good location at the top of the North End so in walking distance to many things. There is a small coffee place on the corner that serves pastries and some yogurt etc - The hotel is also spread throughout 3 buildings mixed in with condos on top. It's tricky if you need to go to the lobby or front desk and you are in another building. I'm sure at one time the Battery Wharf was grand but as of now they have fallen into the mediocre.
