Sonne, Lups, Miguel, Beatriz, Misael, Letpopa were amazing..and they made sure we are having a good time during our stay. They are so friendly and helpfull. I'd definitely go back! The food is great too. The resort is close to downtown for those who love to explore the city. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect Stay at Fiesta Americana

We had a great time in Puerto Vallarta. Fiesta Americans. We absolutely could not have been taken better care of by Carlos, Eugenio, Ricardo, and Karen. If you visit, you must look for these fine people. The rooms are a little dated, but understand they are working on updating. It’s in s great location. Taxi rides are cheap. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worth every Penny (Peso)!

This place may be small than some of the other all inclusive, but the staff and service are wonderful. The upgrade to the adult level with the private pool overlooking the ocean - yum! And the fish taco's and chili/lime/butter shrimp - delightful! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

"REALLY GOOD ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT"

Jun 11th, 2019

We have stayed at several AI resorts in PV now, and this is a good one. It is not at the top end of the AI's, but it is a very good value. We shopped around for awhile to get a good rate here, and it paid off. I have not seen as good rates as we paid since we booked, but be patient, book early, and you should be able to get a good price. First, the rooms are okay - not spectacular by any means. They have a somewhat well-used look, and nothing special about the decor. There is a nice balcony with furniture, and our beds were comfortable. We could not control the AC precisely, so very cold air was blowing on us during the night, or the room was way overly hot - your two choices. We were on the 5th floor and had a great view. I think nearly every room must have a nice view with the design of the hotel. Elevators were speedy most of the time. The resort is a nice size with enough going on to be interesting, but not difficult to move around. Very clean and well kept. The main lobby is a beautiful, huge palapa. There is a nice lobby bar with comfortable seating. There is also an excellent coffee shop that serves non-stop coffee and drinks and some delicious pastries - all included! Having a coffee shop included has become one of our top criteria for an all-inclusive. Not all of them have one, and we love having anytime access to coffee in a pleasant atmosphere. The pools and deck area are well set up. It is not a huge area which makes navigating very manageable. We always had plenty of choices for lounge chairs. My spouse has some back issues, and there were a few different designs on their pool furniture, which gave her comfortable choices. They have a nice smoking area set up near the pool. Almost all smokers confined their smoking to the designated area - only a couple of exceptions. Unfortunately one was our next door neighbor who liked to smoke on his balcony. This was probably the best managed "smoking" aspect of any resort we have stayed at to date. Things are getting better. Food was really very good by our standards. We ate at the Italian restaurant three times, and it was quite special. They served a duck dish that was unique and delicious, and the beef filet was one of the best we've had in an AI. The sushi bar is a nice touch for quick beach food. The snack bar on the pool deck serves excellent fries and the other standard snacks. The Japanese restaurant was just okay - can't find good sushi in Mexico - YET! We'll keep trying. But they did have some interesting dishes. The Mexican restaurant was just average. Pretty good Mexican food, but not special. The buffet is good for breakfast, but nothing else. It is a pleasant setup, but the food is quite repetitive. Since the ala carte restaurants, including the sushi bar, are all off-the-menu ordering, we stuck with them for all meals except breakfast. In 10 days we were very pleased with the food. Service is top-notch as most people have noted. We went through our tip money pretty fast and had to visit the bank as a result. You should not have to get any drinks yourself. Servers are on top of everything. We were not thrilled with the quality of the drinks. I can't blame the servers or bartenders too much, because they were really trying to please us. For some reason drinks were just not a highlight. They have some high end alcohol, but the mixing was an issue. Also, a couple of alcoholic beverages were not available. If you stick to martinis, you will probably be happy. But even margaritas, not so much... We were never approached by a timeshare rep or any kind of sales person. No hassles - very pleasant.
