Nice hotel except for the pillows

Aug 15th, 2019

Seems like a newer hotel. I stayed for one night on business. My only complaint was the pillows. VERY small. I really don't get it. Other than that... staff was nice as was the hotel. Very close to Sanford hospital. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disinterested Staff & Staff using my bathroom

Aug 14th, 2019

I checked in on 8/3 after a long flight arriving about 11pm I was greeting with the head of the front desk staff who was either doing homework or something. finally looked up and said can I help you. She checked us in and we went up to the room, the key did not work, as we kept trying somebody came to the door of the room. We went back downstairs and she said ohh it should have been 316 not 310 and gave us to free vouchers for breakfast. Sunday night was a bad thunder and rain storm, water started coming into our window, since it was 3 am i told my husband to just put some towels in the window and we would deal with it in the morning. We went to the front desk to advise them of the issue. That night we came back to our room and the sealant that they used to fix our window was sitting on the bathroom counter and it looks like whoever came into fix it, decided to use our toilet but did not flush all the way. I ended up cleaning the toilet. I wont stay here again. On top off that there was a swim meet and the people above us sounded like elephants (which I understand cause there were kids). Highlight of the trip was the bar tender with the long beard super friendly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hairy Bathroom and Over Priced breakfast

Jul 21st, 2019

I booked a room through Hotels.com. Got a king bed room and paid $13 extra for breakfast. I arrived later in the evening and had to wait for about 3-4 mins the front desk clerk so come back from "I have stepped away from the desk sign". In a higher priced hotel in Fargo, this was off putting to start. Once in my room the white tile floor was an excellent back drop for the black tumble weeds looking hair balls. The dark brown hairs stuck under the legs of the vanity from the mopping and I can only guess the pubic hair stuck to the wall under the toilet paper rolls. Not even in my room for 3 mins and already back downstairs waiting at the lovely check-in desk with no one working AGAIN. Front desk clerk was ok at dealing with my complaint, he did upgrade me to a King Suite. This was the bare minimum that he could do and did. My new room was clean and without hair as my other room should have been. When I went for breakfast the next morning, I discovered that breakfast was only $8 if I had bought direct from the restaurant. So DO NOT EVER BUY the breakfast with your room. Will not be coming back. The email I got from Allison B stating we used this as a "teachable moment" and hope you come back, was joke to me. Yes let me come running back to your hotel for $180 a night to spend my time waiting for your front desk staff and discover how poorly your cleaning staff do their job. I came to Four Points in hope that my last experience in Fargo would not happen again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good stay

Jul 21st, 2019

My wife and I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton for one night as part of a road trip. The hotel is a little out-of-town but in a quiet area close to a very large hospital. Check-in was easy, pleasant and welcoming. We had a suite which was a good size and included a small kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom. The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was good as was the breakfast offer. Car parking was good and located at the front of the hotel. All in all a very pleasant stay with good friendly staff.
