NOT A SHERATON

Mar 17th, 2020

Desk staff was very kind and upgraded our room to oceanview. However be aware although it is seen online as a Sheraton property, it is not and hasn't been for over a year according to the desk staff. The lobby looks beautiful but the rooms are old and in need of carpet, painting, and bathroom renos. The view was beautiful from the balcony, however the wind made a constant noise leaking around the glass doors. Would not stay again, way overpriced. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Miami vibe

Mar 10th, 2020

Nice location, on boardwalk, nice buffet breakfast, pool ok nothing lavish , rooms could use some updating. Would return because of location and not as pricey as nearby hotels. Always enjoy walk on boardwalk to south beach. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Alright

Mar 2nd, 2020

Its a little worn and is now called the Four Palms. It was clean and the staff was friendly. There was a nice pool area and easy access to the beach. The next door hotel's outdoor restaurant was loud on the weekends. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Four Palms Hotel

Feb 16th, 2020

Please note that this hotel is now called the Four Palms. We stayed for three nights in an oceanfront king room with balcony. We mostly had a really good stay. I gave four stars because you could tell they are still upgrading this property and making some facelift type changes, but generally everything was good. Best features: walkability to mid-beach shops and restaurants, pool area with plenty of sunny and shady seats, beach area with plenty of chairs, good food onsite. Comfortable bed, quiet enough, great view from the room, HOT SHOWER! The restaurant serves food and cocktails at the indoor restaurant (really pretty), out on the pool deck, and to rooms. We were surprised by how good the food was when we had lunch there on the last day. Worst features: our room could have used some cosmetic changes but it appears that they are working on these changes. An in-room microwave and fridge would have made things better as well. Some privacy on the balcony would also improve the room. Overall I would recommend this hotel. It has everything you need to spend some time at the beach. It's a quick ride (uber, lyft, cab) to the activity of south beach, so you kind of get the best of both worlds because many of the south beach boutique hotels aren't on the beach and/or don't have a pool. 1 Star the Reservations Department was AWFUL

Jan 30th, 2020

1 Star Reservations Department was AWFUL. I called 3 different times to hopefully get a better response/understanding on how their Ocean Front Executive Suites were and none of the 3 ladies who answered the phone even knew what their Ocean Front Executive Suites had. They couldn't tell me how big they were, what was included and pretty much anything about them at all. So 3 strikes you're out! I was considering this property since its right on the beach and kind of in the middle of Miami, but after reading all of the negative reviews I started to realize why they were all complaining. Also word is they lost the Sheraton partnership so now its just Four Points with no Sheraton, thats never a good sign when a larger hotel chain drops you from using their name. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
