Price is right -quality isn’t

Hotel is very clean. the proximity to restaurants and shopping is very good. Literally get anywhere in minutes. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The design of the bathroom barely accommodates one person. We were never able to take a hot shower. It was room temperature water at best. We stayed 3 days on the 6th floor. We had to leave early every morning so we purchased microwaveable breakfasts in order to get going quickly. No microwave in the room or anywhere in the hotel. It does have a refrigerator and coffee maker. It was quiet. Literally didn’t see or hear anyone on our floor the entire time. The hotel is right next to I-10. It was nice that we could not hear any traffic. We would stay again and alter our meals. There is an on site restaurant- you can’t order room service, but you can order it and pick it up. I had a burger it was nothing special, but the fries were just the way I liked them. Very crispy on outside and soft in the middle. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I was there one nite and overall the experience was average. I have no major complaint however i found it weird the hotel does not have a Complimentary Breakfast. The Hotel in general looks nice and the rooms look good. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

NO Hot WATER and the Front Desk Agent was short tempered

May 11th, 2019

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel on business. It is generally nice in the public areas, conference rooms, and hotel rooms. However this trip was different. This time there was no hot water. There was no warning at check in and there was definitely no apology or acknowledgement of an inconvenience. In fact when I told the Front Desk Agent she quickly said, "I will tell them." Then I wanted to make sure she knew there was no hot water in the sink or shower, at all. The agent somewhat yelled at me and said loudly, "I SAID I WILL TELL THEM!" There was no I'm sorry for your inconvenience we've had some issues with the __. Nope! I was treated like it was an imposition for her to have to hear that there was not hot water which is a standard amenity. I hope my company got a good discount. That really is ridiculous. Avoid this place

Disappointing hotel, should not be part of Sheraton group. No hot water and the staff couldn’t have cared less. Hotel is tired and smelly. Situated in run down part of the city, this hotel should be avoided. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

HORRIBLE/DISGUSTING

Apr 13th, 2019

We chose Sheraton because of the name recognition and its reputation. THIS place is horrible. The carpet in our room was SO DIRTY, my feet turned BLACK. Several items were broken. Housekeeping was not consistent from day to day. Their "green" option is NO housekeeping, no emptying of the trash, no checking if you need toilet paper, no refill of coffee/sugar/cream. The towels offered by the pool are BAR TOWELS, old & holey. Sheraton split my reservation so I had to check out and check back in, and give them a credit card for incidentals or they wouldn't give me a key to the room!!! VERY rude about it too. I will NEVER return here and I will definitely think twice before I book another Sheraton. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
