Terrible Hotel, Not Clean or Well Kept

We booked this hotel for the Christmas holiday (4-nights) and had to cut our stay short due to how disgusting this hotel is. The rooms we were provided were riddled with stains on virtually everything! There were stains on the carpet, the lamp shades, the furniture, and even the bedding. We also noticed the elevator permit was either expired or not yet renewed which wouldn't surprise me in the slightest given the overall upkeep of the hotel was very poor in the common areas as well. I came across this hotel once and fell in love. I needed a quiet place to get some rest and let me just say you will not be disappointed. The room itself was very homely and then the BED! best sleep ever! TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
One Night Stay and Wish Could Be More

I was in town for the week on a business trip. I stayed a few other places during the week during the course of the week. I wish I would have found this place earlier. Great location. Great staff. Great lobby bar. TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
Things are different when the town is on fire amidst a pandemic

This is a Thank You to the rooms manager for reimbursing me for the second of my two nights, in which I had to be evacuated from the room - only CalFire staff was staying there. Because I went through the (shady..) Trip.com booking, the hotel could not reimburse me directly. I had to call Trip.com numerous times and get the run-around, ultimately having someone spout a bunch of nonsense at me as to why being evacuated from wildfire apparently isn't a good enough reason for a refund. Learn something new every day, I guess. I will say that it was a little weird that there were no towels in the bathroom, and I had to go to the front desk to ask for one. They quickly hooked it up. I got takeout from a restaurant in town, who did not provide utensils for the meal. The front desk was also quick to hook me up with some forks and spoons when I asked. There's more I could say, but ultimately, alls well that ends well, and I feel that they took my situation seriously, and I really appreciate the timely refund for that second night. Difficult times but the hotel was helpful

What a bad time to travel! Everythings closed pretty much but we found that the hotel was very nice. The check in was fast and easy, parking is next door (and expsvive). We stayed in a nice room on the 2nd floor so we could use the stairs if the elevator was not there. The gym was closed but they gave us a card for another one. Restaurant was open for outside but we did not use. No problems, had a nice time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USERÂ
