A hotel for all seasons

Jan 26th, 2020

While not the prettiest of the Four Seasons hotels, the service is as you would expect from this brand. Friendly, warm, ever helpful. From the minute you arrive, you relax, everything is handled. A special mention for their concierge desk, esp Michael Chase, who was able to get precious tickets for us to visit the NMAAHC, which was extremely complicated online. Rooms and bathrooms were very, very large and spacious. Perhaps the TVs were too small and not in proportion to the distance from the bed (yes, the rooms are that large), but I’m nit picking. They have a quirky automatic computerised charge for the mini bar - the minute you remove something, your bill is automatically charged. As we had our own drinks and preferences, they reversed the charges and promptly delivered our very own empty mini-fridge. Now that’s service. The hotel restaurant, Bourbon Steak, was excellent, very buzzy and obviously a DC favourite. The breakfast restaurant Seasons, was also surprisingly pleasing - the pancakes were the best we had on our east coast trip. Outside in the courtyard there are fire pits, so while it was freezing outdoors, we were warm in the fresh air. It’s just on the edge of M street where Georgetown shops begins - close to everything but quiet enough. I’m beginning to feel you can always rely on a four seasons hotel to make your stay perfect. Classic elegance and service to match

Jan 15th, 2020

My wife and I recently spent 6 nights at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown Washington DC. The hotels style is classically elegant and the personalised service provided by the staff matches this aesthetic perfectly. The location of the hotel is ideal, my wife and I walked to all of the sites and monuments in DC with ease yet still felt like we escaped away from the busy city each evening as we enjoyed walking down the beautiful streets of Georgetown and trying the local restaurants. The sauna in the hotel is a wonderful way to unwind in the middle of winter and the staff in the gym/spa make this experience even more perfect. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Ultra-luxury hideaway in Georgetown

Jan 14th, 2020

The Four Seasons' Georgetown location is snuggled into a quiet corner next to the C & O Canal. We loved the Hotel-Spa guest entrance directly on the Canal walking path. Spa services were truly luxurious, with extra wonderful and friendly staff. Every aspect of our stay was taken care of attentively, warmly and expertly. This levely of luxury comes at a price - we found it to be worth the price for our special occasion. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
