Great hotel but a few changes could make it better

Apr 24th, 2019

Four seasons Maui is a great hotel as written in all reviews. Two recommendations Expand the gym. Your guests are working out more and your gym area is small and way too hot. Don’t charge $40 a night for parking. You can offer valet for a fee or park ur own for free Four seasons is not cheap but it is well done and they do try to make everything nice TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Easter / first vacation with two kids

Apr 24th, 2019

Easter weekend at Four Seasons as a first vacation with two kids was incredibly kid friendly--the kid pool and kid amenities (kids club, welcome gift, free buffet for under 6 years old) exceeded expectations. The kids concierge and pool staff were SO friendly and accommodating. Our overall experience with the service was very good, just minor things here and there. However there were two things that stood out that I wanted to mention: 1. During Easter brunch the Easter bunny was walking around taking pictures with kids etc. My kid finally worked up the courage to want to take a photo with the bunny so we jumped up to follow it just as it went into the back/kitchen and TOOK ITS HEAD OFF with the door swung wide open. My daughter's jaw dropped to the floor and she ran back screaming that the Easter bunny had a human face inside. I was laughing because it felt like a scene out of a movie, but it was a little traumatic for my kid. So just beware. 2. For our breakfast the next morning we were seated outside on the patio, which initially we were happy about, until we realized how many wild birds were going to prey on us throughout the meal. I love to be surrounded by nature and we wanted to be on the patio to enjoy the weather and view. We had been seated outside on Easter morning early for breakfast and it was lovely, no problem. But I get the feeling something about Easter brunch tipped a lot of birds off and the next morning we were swarmed! Even the hostess mentioned to us that there seemed to be an excessive number of birds and next time she would seat us somewhere else. While the food was delicious, it was gross to have to bat birds off our table the whole time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Expensive Food!

Apr 24th, 2019

I’ve traveled a lot in the last few years, I’ve never spent $3800 on a breakfast, lunch, dinner in 5 days. I didn’t expect to spent that much on a food. But, we had no other choice. Because the downtown was kind of far from the resort. Overall we had a great time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Maui visit

Great resort, wonderful location and courteous staff. We were upgraded to an ocean view room without a charge. The pool and the jacuzzi are great. The walkway that runs along the ocean is nicely designed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Four Seasons Maui at Wailea exceeds expectations

Apr 22nd, 2019

We spent two weeks at the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea. We had high expectations but even these were exceeded. The staff were exceptional and the resort itself spectacular. Being at the end of the cove made it more private. Attention to detail and immaculate care of the facilities were greatly appreciated. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
