We have been coming to the Four Seasons Maui for 15 years and it is a pleasure each each and every time. The service is outstanding. To their credit the resort is currently fully staffed and they have done an excellent job of observing covid restrictions. The resort is continually updated. Furniture in the lobby is new and fresh. The staff is accommodating in every which way. It is truly a home away from home. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We felt so incredibly safe during our stay. Due to current Hawaii COVID rules we were mandated to wear masks at all times. The only time we were not required to wear a mask was when we were in the pool, in the ocean or sitting at our lounge chairs eating or drinking (all safely distanced) or eating at a table for meals. All Four Seasons staff were excellent about all wearing their masks 100% of the time. They were very good about enforcing mask wearing too. It felt different to wear a mask this trip, but I didn’t mind as I was so grateful to be there and we still had so much fun! This is the email I just wrote to Marc the General Manager: Dear Marc, We just stayed at the Four Seasons Maui from 12/28/2020 to 1/9/2021. We wanted to let you know what a wonderful stay we had at your hotel. We felt very grateful to be there and appreciated how all of your staff went above and beyond to make us feel safe during this challenging time of COVID. There are a few of your staff members who went above and beyond and were exceptional: Michael - He served us in our Cabana multiple days. He was always so happy, positive, polite, energetic and fun. He was so kind to our boys and we felt he went above and beyond and took excellent care of us. Fredo - He was our server multiple days for breakfast at Duo. He just is phenomenal, kind and always in such a great mood. He is an excellent server and didn’t forget anything we asked for. Our whole family just loved having him serve us! Amine - We had breakfast at Duo and he was not our server, he seemed to be a busser/table runner. It was around New Years and the restaurant was completely full and our actual server was obviously overwhelmed and busy. Amine went above and beyond and stepped in and took care of us. He took our order, got our drinks and served us. He was so good, he should be a server! Everyday after that he remembered us and would take the time to stop to say hello and remembered our name. He was so nice! Isabell - One of the days we had chairs by the poolside. Isabell was our server for the day and she was lovely and so sweet. When I saw her another day at the serenity pool she remembered me by name and was so friendly and kind. She is wonderful! Mary Claude - My husband had a massage in one of the outdoor huts. He has had a lot of massages over the years and he said that Mary Claude was the best masseuse he has ever had and his massage was incredible! On Wednesday January 6th we sat in the lobby bar after dinner. I am unsure of the name of the musician who was singing and playing. But he was amazing and knew every song that was requested. We had such a fun time having a few drinks and listening to him! Liz - My boys are 8 and 10 years old and I figured that they were too old for the Kids club. We managed to talk them into going for the Gecko hunt for an hour. Once they were there they didn't want to leave. They absolutely loved all the staff but they spent a lot of time with Liz doing crafts. She was so accommodating to making them happy. She was excellent and the kids loved kids club!!! They ended up going back for multiple days. It was so appreciated and as parents we were able to get a bit of quiet time. We stayed in room 574 for the first few nights. I am not sure if you are aware but there are very noisy Roosters that start sounding at around 3:30am and continue all day long on that side of the hotel. Not sure if you’ve had any other complaints. We didn’t think to turn the fan on to High on the first night to help drown out the sound, so that would have been helpful to know when we checked in. I am not sure if those Roosters could possibly be re-homed/moved to somewhere else on the island but that definitely was quite horrible and un-relaxing to listen to. But I thought I should make you aware for the benefit of future guests. Once we paid for an upgrade and moved to the other side of the hotel to room 711 we did not hear them at all and that was amazing and peaceful. Lastly I would like to say that your housekeeping team was amazing. They did such a great job cleaning our rooms. I had a few requests and they immediately came to help. For example in our 2nd room at 711 there are glass partitions in-between the bathroom and bedroom. Since I get up early to workout I would wake my husband up turning on the light in the bathroom. Once I asked, your housekeeping team immediately came and put up a blackout sheet over the partition window and that took care of the problem, I was so impressed. Thank you again for an amazing stay! This was our third trip to the Four Seasons in Maui. It was where we came for our honeymoon back in 2011 and it is still our most favorite hotel that we have ever been to. I took my daughter to the Four Seasons in Wailea for her 16th Birthday. The staff and hotel were well beyond my expectations. Everyone was so gracious, helpful and waited on us hand and foot. We had such an amazing holiday vacation at 4 Seasons Maui! Even during pandemic hotel provided such an excellent relaxing atmosphere. Everything was just perfect! Food was amazing! We will never forget bred at Ferraro's and street chicken at Duo! Spago is so excellent! Best treat was tennis lessons! Darin is the best coach i have ever had! I had many lessons all over the world, but those ones made a huge impact on my game. I came as a player which can never serve, and came out after 9 lessons like a pro))). He is a true talent. Do not miss if you are a tennis lover. We will be back just to have that bread and tennis lessons))). But truly everything else was fabulous too. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My wife and I just returned from a 17 night stay at the Four Seasons Maui at Wailea. We have been to the resort many many times and hopefully that tells you most of what you need to know. But, to be more specific, the resort property is ideally located in Wailea and I believe it has the best views on the island. The property is meticulously maintained as well. We always stay on the club level which is the top floor in the hotel so it has the best views in my opinion and you get to enjoy the club amenities and services which I will discuss in more detail shortly. With that said, what makes the Four Seasons stand tallest by far is the incredible service that you receive. I agree with the writer of a recent review that stated that the highest levels of service at a hotel typically is not in the US. I have traveled around the world and stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world. The Burj Al Arab in Dubai and the Ritz in Paris (not the Ritz Carlton but the original Ritz) for example. The Four Seasons Maui surpasses them in service. Impeccable service like you receive at the Four Seasons Maui starts at the top of the organization and as a result I give the GM, Marc Bromley, the credit for great leadership. The entire staff embrace the culture and deliver with enthusiasm and joy. There is nothing fake about them. I cannot tell you how many of the staff know our name and call us by it. Even people that we did not routinely interact with such as the Valets up front knew our name. There are a few employees that I want to individually name that stood out even more than the rest. Please do not take me naming these people though to diminish any from what the entire team delivers and that is amazing service. Donna in Duo for breakfast, Abeer in Ferraro's at lunch and dinner, Rowena out by the pool who brings treats to everyone all day is amazing. John and Max to name just a few of the amazing team members that helped us poolside. The most interaction we had though during our stay was with the club level concierges. We saw them many times and day and they are amazing professionals that were a joy to be around and who we are grateful for all they did for us. Gigi, Pat, Margaret, Shauna, and Rowena. Thank you so much. You all are awesome. Hopefully, I have made my point. This is an amazing property in an incredible location with billion dollar views that you will never get tired of. But what makes it the best of the best is the team that work there and the credit for that has to start at the top. Great job to you Marc and great job to every one of your team. I will close in commenting about Covid. You will feel incredibly safe there. They do an amazing job. The rules in Hawaii though are very strict and you should know that you are expected to wear a mask any time you are moving around whether inside or outside. You do not have to wear a mask when dining or sitting at your chair poolside because the seats and tables are distanced, but you need to wear your mask when walking around whether you are distanced or not.
