Week long honeymoon, our first experience at a luxury hotel/resort. Easily the best vacation we've ever had. Four Seasons really makes you feel welcome and treat you like royalty. I've never felt more relaxed. It's expensive but 100% worth every penny for the way they treat you <3 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Romantic dinner at sunset

Feb 15th, 2020

What an incredible experience, we had the Lost at Sea drink which Brittany lit up with sparking cinnamon (in the breeze even) and their “fish” sommelier(only 2 in the world!) Ryan came to our table with wonderful advice for the entree. We had the opakapaka (half portion) served with bak choy and rice that was just perfect! Our appetizer was ahi tartare! My wife is dairy free, so they brought taro chips which I think was even better than the usual toast that comes with it, absolutely delicious!! They finished our dinner with a desert just for my wife, a dairy free fruit sorbet concoction. Thank you all for making our pre Valentines 41st Anniversary so perfect! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This was our first stay at a Four Seasons hotel and we had great expectations at $500+ per night. Sadly disappointed. Firstly the resort cleverly (and borderline unethically) does not show or mention it is right next door to a Disney resort hotel with tons of babies and toddlers sharing the lagoon. Nothing against kids as we have seven between us but for a couples vacation this would not have been first choice had the hotel been open about this. Funnily enough a waitress at a nearby restaurant told us this was a common complaint from Four Seasons residents ever since she opened it when she was working there! The hotel deliberately deceives you. The staff are super friendly but service is slow. Meals and drinks are extremely expensive even for Hawaii standards. The room - nice room with two balconies but one was pretty barren with a couple of chairs and a table and you had to jump to see over the stone wall to the ocean. Again - not as advertised. Several issues with the room - the remote battery needed replacing and the iPad didn't work. When we ordered more coffee pods and water bottles using their much hyped app on our phones nothing happened and we had to follow up in person with the front desk. They then delivered 6 decaf pods!! No idea why. We are regular travelers and concluded this was going to be our first and last stay at a Four Seasons. At that price point we would expect, and have received, way better experiences with other brands eg JW Marriott. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely staff terrible food selection and preparation

Feb 14th, 2020

Loved the staff - best service ever! However the menus in each restaurant had limited selections, I ordered a sauv blanc at minas and what was sent out appeared and tasted to be a 5 day old Chardonnay. We were charged $18.00 at the pool for a small amount of guacamole and basic salsa and prepackaged chips. Very small menu selection and it seems like they are scrimping in this area. At Minas for Valentine’s Day & for our ten year anniversary we were given a small table in a walk way with no view while a family with loud children next to us had a view. Children throwing toys and loud iPads. Not sure why they didn’t go to the loud Disney resort next door. Otherwise beautiful resort which is dated but well maintained. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Exceeded our Expectations

We loved our stay at the Four Seasons. The staff was so attentive and friendly. We loved that the paddle boards and snorkel gear were complimentary. We were greeted with strawberries and champagne for our 40th anniversary. We thanked them, but told them we didn't drink. Next thing we knew, we had a bottle of sparkling cider show up a few minutes later. We felt completely at home. The rooms are comfortable and every need was met. Thank you Four Seasons!
