Nice hotel—-transportation to disney parks is long, bumpy and challenged

Feb 18th, 2020

In general, this is a high-quality hotel on a standalone basis. The rooms are well appointed, are a decent size, and certainly updated. The service is where the hotel shines with well trained and very nice staff. They have live music at a few of the restaurants, which is a very nice touch. If you’re staying here because of the proximity to Magic Kingdom and the parks, you should be aware that the transportation can be very long and painful. The distance from Magic Kingdom to one of the on property hotels like the Grand Floridian is five minutes on the monorail...when traveling to the four seasons from the Magic Kingdom, it can take up to an hour and a half, combining the time spentnon the monorail train, travel from the train to the bus pick up area, waiting for the bus, and then the bus ride itself can take up to 45 minutes, if you catch one of the buses that stops at all the other parks. Just Imagine a full bus of screaming kids for 45 minutes while you drive around Orlando, further, picture a bumpy bus that has limited air-conditioning. This could be fixed if they updated the buses and made sure that the buses went directly from the park straight back to the hotel. Traveling 1.5 hours one way for a 2 mile trip is just painful and not worth it...Beware if you are planning on traveling to Parks on the four seasons bus! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awesome resort with great customer service and amenities! You won’t be disappointed! The rooms were very clean and the staff that we interacted with were very nice and helpful. This is a high luxury hotel that I would highly recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfection on every level!

Incredible experience. From the moment you arrive it’s perfection! There is so much do on property that you don’t want to leave. Best Lazy River ever! My 5 year old son loved it too. Plus water slides, hoops, volleyball and tennis. Great golf setup. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Felt different this time

Feb 16th, 2020

This is a tough review to write. This is my family’s third visit to this property. We have always loved it, especially the feeling that you can get away from all of the park madness, but still keep the disney magic. This time it was diferent. The hotel felt quite understaffed. There was one afternoon where there was only 1 server for the entire pool. Had to wait 20 min to get seated for breakfast eventhough there were many empty tabeles. The hostesses looked super overwhelmed. Also, servers tried to charge us for the kids meals in almost every restaurant (they are 3 and 5and the Four Seasons hotels don’t charge meals for kids under 6) I know this was a busy holiday, but we have been here o the 4th of July and it felt very diferent, thats why we felt it would fine to come for Presidents Day. We have also spent spring break in two Four Seasons in Hawaii and had amazing service despite it being super busy. I do hope these issues are fixed, we usually have an amazing time at Four Seasons Orlando. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just amazing

We stayed at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando in May 2019 and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff is great from arriving at the entrance to entertaining you in the lobby and onwards at the pool and restaurants. If you are after a family friendly hotel we can definitely recommend it.
