We stayed at the Four Seasons in Punta Mita in mid October. I was hesitant about Covid -19 precautions, however since it was the Four Seasons I was certain we would be safe. We felt safe at all times the precautionary measures were apparent such as cleaning, masks, hand sanitizer, usage of the contactless mobile app and social distancing. I felt safe at all times and had an amazing vacation. It was great to have a wonderful vacation in a safe environment. As always the food and beverages were outstanding. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
An Exceptional Stay!

I had heard about this property through friends and colleagues for years but it exceeded expectations. Everyone had said that staff was above and beyond and it's true. Everyone was absolutely incredible. The grounds are also so unique - feels like your own private beach paradise with meandering pathways surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking ocean views everywhere. The infinity pool is just as dreamy as the photos. Definitely a top property in all of Mexico and it's clear why once you are here.. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Our first time at a Four Seasons and the bar has been set high. The Four Seasons Punta Mita exceeded my expectations in every way from the service, the setting, the room, the food, etc. It is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The grounds are lush, tropical and stunning. The infinity pool is perched perfectly over the ocean for the best view ever. What really stands out is the service - each and every employee went above and beyond, loved their job and made you feel like you were the only ones there. Lauro, Marco, Hugo, Juan Luis, Juan Jose just to name a few. This was a splurge for us but we will have to come back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Incredibly Thoughtful Service, Fantastic Accomodations

We stayed at the Four Seasons mid-September and can't speak highly enough about our experience. Traveling: Due to taxis and ubers costing about $2500 MX (~$125) each way, we opted to rent a car and drive out to Punta Mita from the Puerto Vallarta airport. If you are looking for no responsibility, their shuttle service makes things much easier, but you can save some cash by renting. It's about a 45-50 minute drive, and renting the car for 5 nights to drive ourselves to and from the airport was cheaper than going one-way with local taxis or the hotel shuttle service. Just WATCH THE POTHOLES. There are some monstrous potholes which are easy to avoid if you are on the lookout for them, but can rock your world if you hit them. Arriving: The staff at Four Seasons was friendly and cheerful at all times. They santized our hands, shoes, and took our temperatures before checking us in (Covid-19 is still a concern), and once we entered the beautiful lobby, they offered us wet towels to wipe our face/hands along with a refreshing hibiscus juice with optional tequila to celebrate our arrival--which we willingly accepted. The staff spoke perfect English to explain the policies, the Four Seasons app, and then set us up with a staffmember to drive us on a golf-cart to our hotel room. Along the way, the staffmember David pointed out features of the resort, offered to give us a full tour, dropped us off at our room and made a dinner reservation on our behalf. He was polite, patient, and a true professional. It made our arrival after all the travel a truly delightful experience. Room: We stayed in one of the oceanfront hotel rooms and were amazed at how spacious, clean, sleek, and well-designed the room was. The view of the Pacific was awe-inspiring, and the patio setup outside of the windows made our meals and sunset views a comfortable, memorable experience. Room service ws prompt no matter when or what we ordered. The staff insisted to remind us that gratuitity was already included when we tried to tip, which I admired as a transparent, honest approach. Tips: Service charges are baked into everything you do, so there is no need to provide additional tip unless you'd like to. We felt such gratitude to be at a beautifully manicured resort and to be waited on constantly and enthusiastically, so tipping felt natural to us. Knowing that the resort was closed for 4 months while adjusting to the Pandemic and new sanitization rules, we were happy to contribute additional tips. Dining: While not all of the dining options were available, our food selections came from 1 of 4 places: Dos Katrinas (the main dining room and bar), the other oceanside restaurant, service by the pool, and service to our room. Food was always fresh, delicious, and well-priced. The specials were usually the highlights of our meal. We were lucky enough to get a tuna sashimi platter prepared for us on tostadas because of the daily fish haul, and it blew our minds! The staff always recognized us when we'd come back, knowing what we enjoyed eating and drinking after a visit or two and making recommendations to suit our palettes. We love spicy foods, so we always got great selections of fresh salsas on the side for our meals. Activities: At the resort we played on the tennis courts, chilled out in the lazy river, read books by the pool, played in the ocean, and enjoyed the live music upstairs in the bar at Dos Katrinas. The best part about the stay at Four Seasons is that we always had staff on demand to drive us wherever we wanted to go--afterall the resort is pretty large. The app was easy to communicate with the staff to order a golf-cart, to reserve tennis courts, or to order room services. While the beaches were "closed", we were still able to enjoy them--it just meant that we had to walk up to the pool bar area to order drinks and take it back oceanside--not a very far walk. It was strange to see the beach empty, but following santization measures was really their focus. It meant that the beach was available for us to use at our own risk. The risk was easily managed by wearing masks, socially distancing, and generally being smart about everyone's safety. Verdict: This trip was amazing for us as a couple, and we were able to see other couples, groups of friends, and families enjoy the resort too. We'll be back--the accomodations were comfortable, the food was incredible, and the whole experience was too memorable to forget. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
