Stayed for one night (checked out late) with my family of four booked through Amex Travel on our way to the mountains and the property did not disappoint. From the moment we pulled up to check in, to our upgraded casita in the residences section (self parking), there was nothing substantial to complain about. It was quiet, serene and incredibly relaxing. Our boys loved the enormous saltwater pool where we were the only ones swimming for at least an hour early in the morning. Be prepared for not seeing staff at the pool very early (prob. due to covid?) but we overlooked that for the attention and care that we received from the staff who were all very professional and friendly. The restaurant Proof had the standard American fare and reservations recommended over the weekend. Room service breakfast will not be setup (again due to covid?) but the food portions were satisfactory. We had a small desert trail to walk to to get to the main resort and the views of the mountains were amazing. Given the chance to come back to Phoenix or Scottsdale (along with the world in better shape!), this out of the way luxury resort will be our hotel for a night or two in the future. Thank you! World Class Service

Kelley is the consummate professional. Kelley truly epitomizes hospitality and provides the essence of world class customer service. This is easily seen in her staff. From Koffi the Bell Hop, to front desk attendants Brooks and Ben James, Nick my pool side attendant and Vitorro our server and sommelier, the service was impeccable. Kelley was so gracious that she even came and check in during dinner and closed the car door for my wife as we left. We were always greeted with a friendly smile and made to feel welcomed. Kudos to Kelley for leading by example. The world would be much better with people like her in hospitality and service in general. Thank you GM Kelley Moreton. Please share our note with her! Not as expected

I’ll start with the location and ambience of this hotel being stunning, and obviously everyone is challenged by COVID, tough times. Having said that, we’ve been traveling across country and every hotel we have stopped in was so well prepared for COVID. The peninsula in Beverly Hills had hand sanitizer everywhere. Our car came from the valet with the wheel, seats and gear lever covered in plastic and the room had sanitizer, wipes and masks. None of this is in place here. I totally get that different states having differing numbers of cases and different rules right now but the level here feels well below par. The car was not sanitized or protected in anyway. The room has no hand sanitizer, wipes or masks no signage to let you know the remote etc has been wiped. I went to the rest room twice by the pool and the soap dispenser was empty and no hand sanitizer available. We entered the restaurant for dinner last night and the hand sanitizer by the hostess station was empty. This is just basic stuff that even if we’re not in a ‘hot zone’ it’s sill a four seasons and people are visiting from all over. Again, I get we’re in difficult times but it feels like staff are non existent. By the pool in particular. One red headed girl is working super hard and no one else appears to be seen. I’ve tried to shift the umbrella 3 times and no one has even offered to help. The phone has literally run off the hook when I call to ask for anything. They’re super friendly when they do, but man it takes a while. First world problems, sure, but I pay for the four seasons so I don’t have to deal with them. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We just spent a week here and have nothing but great memories! The staff is beyond accommodating and we love the food and service at Proof. This was our 5th year visiting and can’t wait until we are back next summer. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
The Residences at Four Seasons - Relaxing and beautiful place

This is my third trip to AZ, first time staying in Scottsdale. Last year around the same time we stayed at a Marriott resort in Tempe. Scottsdale is a great city with tons to do and almost too many great places to dine. This was a family trip but with only two of our four kids since the other two are away at school. We stayed in a 1BR suite and it was plenty of space for us. My twin daughters shared the queen sized sofa bed. It is comfortable and a true queen sized bed, unlike some hotels that say it’s a queen only to find out it’s smaller. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfasts and the occasional dinner when we were too pooped to go out to eat. The room itself was nice, but I think it’s time for an update. We’ve stayed at MVC’s that had nicer rooms. My favorite thing about the room was the balcony. We spent a lot of time sitting in the reclining lounge chairs just enjoying the breeze and the view. The room was quiet, but that could also be because of Covid. Not a lot people here and they definitely seemed to have spaced us out so as not to have anyone directly next door to each other. The pool at the residences is on the small side but the lounge chairs are so comfy and plush and the service is outstanding. We got to know the staff by their names. Such a great group of people, super friendly and incredibly helpful. We are definitely spoiled! Guests of the residences can use all of the facilities at the resort, so we called the front desk and got a ride on a golf cart to the main resort to use the pool there. The pool is gorgeous and huge. The only downside is the lounge chairs aren’t anywhere near as comfortable as the ones at the residences. Service was also impeccable, and the seating areas were pretty spectacular. If you want shade the options at the main pool are awesome. The hike to pinnacle peak is great, only it isn’t worth starting it at the resort. Take the short drive to the actual trail head. We had lunch one day at Oscolito at the residences and it was pretty good, standard hotel fare. My girls loved the Oreo cookie smoothies but they’re pricey - $16 for 16 oz. it’s ok we’re on vacation! But there’s a Freddy’s custard and Steak Burgers, a Chic Fil A and Tons of other places to get shakes nearby. Overall a great place and I would definitely come back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
