Wow just wow

This place was immaculate. I love traveling to the Seychelles when I'm in the area. Most times I stay at an airbnb and travel the island. This year I wanted to hit up a some more beaches that I've never been to. Which brings me to the FS seychelles. In the govt infinite wisdom they mandate all public beaches to have access even if theres a resort on the beach. With FS all you have to do is find a parking space and check in at the guard desk. I enjoyed this beautiful chunk of Seychelles so much that I decided to get a room on my last day. The only thing they had was a garden view but to my surprise I was upgraded to this gorgeous serenity villa. At check in I was told where to park and wait for a buggy to take me to reception. It was a surprisingly long wait. I was half way tempted to walk it but alas a man came and picked me up. He apologized and i believe said the reasoning was a lot of check outside were happening. Surprisingly enough he remembered me from a couple days before where he picked me up and took me to the beach. So we had a good laugh and conversation all the way to reception. At reception I was given juice and the exceptional FS service. After check in I was driven to my villa. I could have squealed after seeing this, and I did, so the point my buggy driver laughed when he left. This must have been my lucky year because free champagne with the upgrade? I'll take it. The villa consists of a large room that looks out to the ocean, private pool, deep soaking tub and shower, day bed and lounging deck. The place was beautiful. Finally after settling down I called for a buggy to the beach. Honestly one of the main reasons I decided to get a room was because of the bartender. I hate I can't remember his name but the service and just the relaxed conversations really made me feel welcomed. First a quick lounge at the beach, it did take some time for a member of the staff to come over and get a lounge chair ready but when they did a nice towel and a FS cooler with water was waiting for me. They even have a member of the staff applying sun block and cleaning glasses. For a quick bite i got a lobster roll. It was ok nothing to brag about. And then off to the bar with my favorite bartender. Later i decided to get sushi instead of the AYCE Seychellois feast. Overhearing a lot of the managers getting their staff to push the dinner to the guest was weird. I get it's a resort and the idea is to keep all the guests on the resort but for $100+ (if I remember correctly) I can leave the resort and get a great Seychellois meal for a fraction of the cost. Best part of the stay, getting drunk in the pool off free champagne. Thank you FS. Seriously if you're thinking about getting a room, do it. And do it now TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Tropical dream destination

This was our 3rd stay at the FS Seychelles resort. As always, we were completely overwhelmed by this tropical paradise. The best beach, the nicest staff, very friendly and sincere characters. Perfect Villa experience. We have been to a lot of luxury resorts in the Caribbean, but the Four Seasons Seychelles keeps us from getting back to the Caribbean. We would highly recommend this resort over other resorts on Mahe. Hands down, simply the best. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful resort with lush greenery. We enjoyed our morning walk up and down the hill with cinnamon trees around us. We don’t see many people walking. Don’t miss the beautiful lotus pond that lead to the beach and the sunset view from the spa roof. Bianca made our check in very smooth, she’s very friendly and attentive. Although we had to wait a bit longer for our room to ready. Buggy staff are friendly and we never wait a minute anytime we need them. Our hilltop villa is beautiful with combination of green and turquoise color of nature view. It is just lack of privacy if we want to use the outdoor shower as there are stairs up to the villa next to us. We enjoyed our massage time at the spa, 90 minutes feel short as it was so relaxing. My wife had a shoulder pain a day earlier from wrong sleeping and the therapist fixed it. Everyone at the Spa(The receptionist and therapists) are very welcoming. Staffs at Kannel and ZEZ restaurant are very friendly, genuine and address us by our name. Food taste better in Kennel restaurant and reasonable price compared than ZEZ. Chopsticks doesn’t placed horizontally to the table, with tips to the left. no chopsticks rest too. The asian staff (We didn’t see her name) during breakfast is very friendly, welcoming and remembered our preference drink. Maxim was very thoughtful, we received a plate of praline a night before our arrival. Vanessa at Kannel is very friendly and attentive made our dinner very pleasant. We learned new things daily from the afternoon light bite. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent service!

We came here to enjoy the day at Four Seasons on a stop over and were warmly greeted by Samia. She took care of us from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We enjoyed the resort, the service and delicious food. Four Seasons has proved once again to be one of the best in the world! However it's the people who matter the most so thank you Samia for making this day unforgettable! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful place in stunning location in paradise 🌺

I have been to many hotels around Seychelles and the Four Seasons def belongs to the best ones on the island of Mahe. The villas are amazing and quite spread out among the huge hillside property so that every villa is facing the ocean. We had a hilltop ocean view villa which are located very high up which has the best views so I loved waking up and jumping in the pool overlooking this spectacular property. The villa itself is big and spacious. The beach is very relaxing and the color of the water is just wow. Its a great choice for couples, families or honeymooners who prefer privacy and quiet in their room but still like to see a few people while lying on the beach or restaurants. The Spa was really nice too and i loved the flower baths they created in our room every day- in overall we had such a relaxing stay exactly what we were looking for! Little tip: The Spa has a terrace on top which is one of the highest points in the hotel offering great views. You can also do a 30 min hike on top of the mountain behind the hotel but the morning we wanted to do it id had rained in the night and we couldnt do it as it was too slippery but apparently its amazing so ask at spa or reception if you wanna do it :) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
