Exceptional Stay (Again)

Oct 21st, 2019

Still the best hotel I have every stayed at when considering all off the critical elements. Phenomenal location, great staff and facilities. Really enjoyed the bar at night time with the gas fires. Spa is the best I have ever experienced. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Anniversary stay.

Oct 21st, 2019

First of many we hope stays at Four Seasons in the future. Impeccable accommodations, staffing from management on down attentive to every need, friendly relaxing experience from arrival to departure. Restaurant and Bar/Lounge as good or better than the best Vail has to offer and we have a forty year history of coming to Vail. The Four Seasons is our new go to spot in Vail. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Classic Lodge Experience.

Oct 19th, 2019

We love to stay at mountain lodge locations and this one did not disappoint. The small lobby area was closed for renovation, but otherwise all was in order. The lobby lounge and restaurant were recently redone and have a more modern style than the rest of the hotel, but still blend in nicely with the hotel’s overall look of upscale rustic charm with good use of earth tones. We stayed in a garden view room and were happy with our view which was right up the mountain. It seemed to be one of the few rooms in the hotel without a balcony but since the balconies are lined up in rows with no privacy at all, we did not feel like we missed out especially since it appears many rooms in the hotel have limited views. The room was spacious with a nice foyer that separated the bedroom from the bathroom. The bedroom had a comfortable chair with ottoman, stone fireplace, and a small table with two chairs. The bathroom was spacious with double sinks, separate shower and water closet, and a large free standing tub. The big walk in closet easily held our luggage, thus keeping it out of sight which we appreciated. The onsite amenities are pretty good. The gym is spacious and has windows overlooking the pool area. You can just about get in a full workout. The pool is large with two hot tubs and a fire pit. It sits in the middle of the u-shape of the hotel with a mountain view beyond the open end. The hotel building blocks sun exposure early and late in the day but it still is a pretty setting. The hotel spa is also very nice with dry and wet areas that are open to guests even if they are not getting a treatment. We had breakfast at Flames each morning which was very tasty and located in a dark wood room that had a country club grill atmosphere. The hotel is conveniently located on the edge of Vail Village and a short walk to the lesser known but just as charming Lionshead Village. While the hotel looks big at about 10 stories, two thirds of the building is the residence section. While the setting and style of the hotel are very attractive, other than the pool area and terraces off the restaurants, there is no other usable outdoor property for guests on the tight lot. Unfortunately this is very common at Vail hotels. Parking is $40 but goes up in winter and the resort fee is $45 but at least you can use the spa which is not always the way at other hotels that charge such fees. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

One Night of Excellence

Oct 19th, 2019

If you only have one day to spend in Vail, I'd strongly recommend the Four Seasons. The accommodations were first class, as expected, but the location and staff really made the stay a great experience. I'm looking forward to returning in the near future :) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Exceptional service and care to guests

Oct 18th, 2019

The best hotel to be in at the Vail. Quality rooms fitted with well more than your typical 5 star hotel. The location is perfect and central to all attraction in the vail. The service and attention to guests is really what made the difference for me. An amazing gym with the latest tech. The staff attended to all our requests and hands down to the asst manager Amrapali that really excelled and took care of us really well. A big thank you to the concierge that assisted in our daily agendas. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
