Overview

Hotel sits in the heart of Miami Beach along Collins Avenue
Music from the on-site nightclub can be heard in lower-level accommodations

The Gale South Beach honors its history by featuring glamorous decor from the 1940s and preserving its vibrant art deco accents. But this boutique hotel embraces the present with chic room furnishings and modern amenities like marble bathrooms, rainfall showers, 55-inch LED TVs and iHome docking stations featured in all of the accommodations. When you're ready for some sun, check out the rooftop pool area  it boasts 5,000 square feet of space and plenty of lounge chairs. If you'd rather hit the beach, you'll have complimentary access to a private beach club that provides amenities like beach chairs, towels and umbrellas. Once you work up an appetite, whet your palate at Dolce Italian with savory dishes like pizza and hearty pastas. Those who are looking for a light bite and an endless choice of cocktails can try The Regent Cocktail Club. Meanwhile, the on-site Rec Room offers guests a place to party with rotating DJs and a bevy of libations. Guests do note that music from the club can find its way into the rooms, so consider booking a room on a higher floor to get the best night's sleep.

The Gale's exterior is an admirable recreation of classic boxy deco aesthetic expanded to the grand dimensions of a modern SoBe super resort. This blend of classic and haute South Beach carries on indoors, where you'll find bright rooms with clean colors and sharp lines and a retro chic vibe inspired by the Mid Century Modern movement.
