A truly entertaining Christmas Eve for our family! ICE / Polar Express was well organised! Great Cirque Dreams show!

Jan 29th, 2020

We made a family outing to ICE / Polar Express and to watch the free Cirque Dreams show in the Atrium on Christmas Eve! Our half day there has become a great family memory for the 8 of us ranging in age from 4 to 62! The ICE attraction was well organised indeed! There are so many holiday activities and events that you could spend 2 or 3 days here for the little ones to experience it all! We were totally entertained and highly recommend a visit here! Sure, the restaurants are expensive but there are good value menu items in Wreckers and you can pick up light bites in the deli / market. Have fun! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

needs an update

The hotel atrium is very nice. The rooms are comfortable but the carpeting and paint in the rooms and hallways look worn and dated. Also, the resort fee model of adding to the room charge is very annoying. What is the purpose of having an additional charge? It should just be rolled into the price of the room. You don't have a choice of declining the services and the fee. This model makes the room price look more competitive but it is not endearing to guests and creates ill will. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Ice Show Parking

Jan 23rd, 2020

The Gaylord Palms (a Marriott facility) should be ashamed for charging families$25 for parking while attending the ICE Show. We took my son, daughter in law, grandchildren to the ICE Show, obviously a hefty cost. Then added to it we are hit with a $25 parking fee when we left-trying to get every last penny out of families. Just incredible. Cannot believe they are so money hungry for profits to do this during the holidays. It is a facility by facility charge as the Gaylord in Dallas does not charge the $25. I hope word gets out and people will boycott next year’s show to send a message as to what happens when you gouge the public. People spent a lot of money, probably more than they should have with holiday expenses only to get hit with one more exorbitant charge. Disgusting TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Absolutely atrocious to charge $24 parking. Dropping family off from Europe who were staying at the hotel and wanted to get a coffee and be able to say goodbye to them and all they give you is 20 minutes free parking.. then it’s $24. Absolutely disgusting. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Stay

Jan 20th, 2020

Stayed 3 nights to visit Disney World and to also watch LPGA golf tournament. Check in was easy. Self parking costs $24 per day. $30 resort fee per day as well. We stayed in room 5214 which is a 2 queen bed room. No balcony. The room was clean and very well kept. Room had a small fridge. No microwave. Everything in the room and bathroom was up to date and in good working order. Family pool is nice and big. Only goes to 3’ 9” deep. They have 2 large slides. They also have another section that is for the lil kids. It has 2 slides as well. Only at at the poolside bar/grill. The food was good. Also had drinks at the sports bar. Watch 2 NFL playoff games. It has many different screens which are able to be viewed from any seat in the house. Would stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
