Not Good in many ways

Dec 15th, 2019

This is essentially a university dorm room at nice business hotel prices. Everything is dated, and risky dink, smells weird, old rickety bed, tiny TV placed oddly, very loud at all hours with poor noise insulation. Good location for Georgetown but not much else. Good friendly service though. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Never again/management super rude

Dec 7th, 2019

Due to the construction around the hotel it was very difficult to find the entrance, we arrived in a rainy Friday night, this hotel has a few parking spaces allowed to the guests, parking lot is POORLY SENALIZED; during check-in process we got a ticket because we parked in a place not authorized for guests; we spoke to the manager and she was the rudest person I have encountered in my life, she started scolding us, even the staff standing next to her looked scared, she made us feel so unwelcomed that we will not come back to this hotel ever// Presten atencion, este hotel tiene muy pocos espacios destinados a los huespedes en el parqueo, se encontraran con construccion de la universidad por todos lados, la manager es una mujer muy prepotente. Quedense en este hotel solo si es muy necesario. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Really noisy

If you are there to have some treatment next door at the medical center would be the only reason I would stay here. Between the highway right behind it (5:30 wake up) and the massive construction project next door it's incredibly loud. Also there is no restaurant or bar in the hotel. You are told to walk next door to the college and eat in their cafeteria. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stay here only if you must have fast access to the University

Oct 20th, 2019

Due to the construction, it is almost impossible to find the hotel's entrance. I had to call the hotel and get instructions for the Uber driver. The so-called entrance is an uphill ramp, and then stairs-- neither of which is ADA compliant. There was only one person at the front desk; she had to answer phones, handle check-ins, etc. so the process was slow. There appears to be no support staff to help with luggage. The room is old, dingy, and small; it feels like a dorm room but costs much more. There is no room service and no food available in the lobby. According to the front desk, meals are available at a campus dining facility, about an 8 minute walk away. Of course, it's raining. Don't stay here unless you must have immediate access to the campus. And, if you come while the construction is ongoing, get directions so you don't wander aimlessly looking for the entrance. Would never stay again

Extremely overpriced. Desk person was rude and uninformed- she gave us directions that led us to a dead end. Room was very average - breakfast service was extremely slow and poor choices. Only saving grace is the concierge who was really nice and helpful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
