Thank you Samantha!

Jan 18th, 2021

Stayed in October 2020 at Glasgow Marriott hotel, very Covid safe, clean and the staff was very good and helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good too, though was tough to manage dinners with kind of same repetitive choices due to lockdown hours etc I definitely recommend this place and would like to give a special thanks to Assistant Front Desk Manager , Samantha Kelly who assisted with every question and help I needed genuinely carrying a great sense of compassion in such difficult weird times we living in. Great Customer Service

Nov 29th, 2020

I recently stayed at the Marriott Glasgow I had an amazing encounter with Roody who assisted me with my misfortune with a third party food delivery provider. He went out of his way to assist me, helping me resolve the matter. It’s such a great pleasure to meet great person who genuinely carry a great sense of customer service. Considering the complicated situation we are all in at the moment it’s very reassuring that being away from home you will meet great people who will go out of their way to make you feel Home away from Home. Thank you. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent stay at Glasgow Marriott

Oct 20th, 2020

We stayed for a couple of nights at the beginning and end of our trip in Scotland. It was my first stay at a Marriott property and I was really impressed. Effective Covid-related security measures are in place and the hotel has done a great job to make sure everything is safe and secure. The hotel is nice and in a really convenient location. 10 minute walk from the city centre, and also easy to get to Kelvingrove. Breakfast was really good too - everything is ordered from a set menu and brought to your table. Great vegetarian breakfast and pancakes. Special shout out to Julie who was charming and looked after us so well at breakfast and gave us recommendations about Loch Lomond. And big thanks to Roddy at the front desk who was friendly and extremely personable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Leisure club facilities.

Oct 20th, 2020

Today I visited the Marriott Glasgow leisure facilities as a recommendation from a friend. I was looking to take my self and my 5 month old baby as due to covid I have yet to take her swimming. First of all I would like to say how helpful and lovely the staff where. I’m addition to this I was directed to the family change which was a private room with drop down baby changing facilities. It also included your own shower and spacious lockers that where deep enough I could fit everything i had that come with having a 5 month old child in such as changing bag etc. The pool could use a little update but on a whole it was lovely and warm and not to busy which is great in the current pandemic. The walk way from the pool to changing room could use a little more heat but overall I was really happy with my visit and will be returning. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Leisure facilities review

Oct 18th, 2020

We booked ahead to use the Leisure facilities (Pool) for myself, my husband and my 4 month old baby. I chose the Marriott Leisure as I have good memories from there as a child & I thought it would be a good environment to go to given the current Covid situation. (There was a hand sanitizer station at reception & access to doors via your foot). Sadly I was so very wrong. It hasn't been updated in anyway. It is genuinely the exact same as it was when I was a child (I'm now 32) and it shows. There were missing and broken tiles. It was grubby looking. Simple things like a white wooden door looked dirty...it doesn't take much to out a kick of paint on that. There are no baby changing facilities in the changing rooms. This was my biggest upset, especially since I called ahead in advance & advised we would be bringing a baby. I had nowhere to put him to get him changed so I had to do it on one of the seating benches. fine, however when it came to getting myself changed I had no idea what to do with him. There was no where to safely put him. When I asked a member of staff she advised me that there was a pull down baby changing tray in the disabled toilet (which is not near the changing rooms). So me and my child are expected to get ready in a disabled toilet (which wasnt clean looking and there was nothing available to clean down the area/tray for my baby). The corridors and changing rooms were freezing! I heard several people complain about this. The pool area was a good temperature however walking back to the changing room was a test of your will power! And to top it off ... £15 per person! To use an outdated pool. Unclean changing & non family friendly facilities (for younger children). I'll be contacting the manager over the next couple of days, I'm so deeply disappointed TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
